  Well there actually is no indication as to why he quit.  Might have some family matters that caused him to quit.   It's not like these guys are drafted into military service and are perfectly allowed to walk away for any reason they choose.

There is nothing in the article that speaks to why he terminated his contract .  It may be for reasons other than the state of the Browns
