Yes, I know RBs are a dime a dozen and it’s wrong to overpay. However this guy not only runs with authority, elusiveness and toughness but also capable as a receiver and above average in pass protection. Plus, has the utmost respect of JA. I’d lock him up at least for a 4 yr deal this off-season. Watching Cook surge in both the running and receiving game, is there a better tandem of RBs than Motor and Cook right now? Motor averaging 4.6 ypr, Cook 5.8 ypr. no lol. also no to 4 year deal. 0 points. 1 1 Quote

DCofNC Posted December 27, 2022 Posted December 27, 2022 One minute this team needs a RB, one game later, “best in the league?” I remember my first beer. 1 2 Quote

Andy1 Posted December 27, 2022 Posted December 27, 2022 I like Singletary. He is good in pass pro, is a good receiver and rarely gets tackled for a loss, nearly always getting past the first tackler. He is not great at anything, but is good at most. He is durable, dependable, liked and respected on the team and is a team first player. He does have is limitations and Cook is a great compliment. I would try to resign him to a fair but team friendly deal. If he would take it, great. If not, look for a bigger, AJ Dillon type back in the draft. 2 Quote

John from Riverside Posted December 27, 2022 Posted December 27, 2022 Top 10 team in the league doubtful Playing very well right now absolutely I would have no problem bringing this group back, but I would add a power runner to it Quote
GreggTX Posted December 27, 2022 Posted December 27, 2022 No. A good combo, but hardly the best. Quote
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted December 27, 2022 Posted December 27, 2022 There is that great quote from Benjamin Disraeli— which applies here: “there are lies, damn lies, and statistics.” Quote
BigAl2526 Posted December 27, 2022 Posted December 27, 2022 Personally, I'm not a huge Singletary fan. He has some good games, and games where he spends a lot of plays running into a pile. A good share of that may be due to the O-line though. I'm not saying the Bills should get rid of him. I'm just not ready to give him a big money long term commitment. I like what I'm seeing from Cook, but he's a rookie in his first season, and it's taken a while to see him get untracked. I'll feel more confident about him if he comes out of the gate next season running with the same confidence and catching passes. 1 Quote

I’m getting to the point with cooki where whenever he gets the ball I get excited whenever I see him get to the second level because I know it’s going to be a good play. The only problem is I’m reserved because of the way he was used in college he has always been that add to back he has never been the guy you take motor for instants motor had a ton of carries in college and was productive cook is not. I honestly hope the cook just proves me wrong on that. 1 Quote

A combined 1,817 rushing yards and 20 tds. Add another 463 yards and 3 tds receiving. Hiw about we start with they are a developing tandem that provides more options for this team? Dallas right now is on top, and I don’t necessarily want to be the top rushing team, but want to be an effective running team. In the same vein, I want to acquire another WR and an effective TE so we can run 10, 11, 12, and 21 personnel interchangeably. That makes for an impossible offense to defend as you can be fluid based on you’re opponent. Dont mistake, I’m very happy we are growing as a team especially with the showdown in Cincy next Monday night. Quote
SageAgainstTheMachine Posted December 27, 2022 Posted December 27, 2022 I like both players but on both the positive and negative sides, can we stop reacting exclusively to the most recent thing that happened? 1 Quote

Chandler#81 Posted December 27, 2022 Posted December 27, 2022 Personally, I think Gilliam & Hines make a better pairing and they're on the damn team! 1 Quote
dollars 2 donuts Posted December 27, 2022 Posted December 27, 2022 I will say if it was just 1 RB everyone would be on board with 250 Carrie’s for 1,252. If that average was maintained for a 16 game season, about 270 for 1,350 would be a heck of a finish. Quote
gjv Posted December 27, 2022 Posted December 27, 2022 I'm hoping Bijan Robinson falls to us in the upcoming draft. Wonder what Beane will do. Quote
