bobobonators Posted December 26, 2022 Posted December 26, 2022 As is the case in the NFL - he’ll resurface as an assistant coach somewhere. 1 1 Quote
Bubba Gump Posted December 26, 2022 Posted December 26, 2022 My thought watching the game yesterday 17 hours ago, Bubba Gump said: I take back firing Hackett after week 18 back. He should not be let back on the team flight. 1 Quote
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted December 26, 2022 Posted December 26, 2022 I should Copy and paste the text thread I had with my Broncos fan buddy when they hired Hackett. It started basically with me saying: “hackett, is by far, one of the worst offensive coaches in bills history.” Quote

I think it is Wilson only works in certain schemes and likely new head coach will be someone who Wilson says he can work with probably someone from Seahawks or Chiefs organization. 1 2 Quote
Big Blitz Posted December 26, 2022 Posted December 26, 2022 Detroit’s OC will be mentioned with every job. 3 3 Quote
peterpan Posted December 26, 2022 Posted December 26, 2022 Lol fired in his first season. Don’t see that too often. last one I can remember is a Browns coach from a dews years back who actually was doing a good job . Quote

My hope lies with the Raiders the week after to beat the Chiefs at Allegiant. Broncos had zero motivation in beating the Rams. Playing against the Chiefs, the Broncos will want to give it their all. Because they are division foes and you want to play great against one of the top teams in the country. 1 Quote

Boatdrinks Posted December 26, 2022 Posted December 26, 2022 Thought Hackett was godawful when he was here. 15 games and it was probably overdue. Quote

I know opinions on this board vary, but I trend towards crediting some of the film breakdowns pointing out that Wilson has had options, he's just running off-script (or writing his own script) and there actually are open receivers and plays to be had. I don't think we're going to see a change under the same OC (the Packers former TE coach). But, an OC who can either design a system to work with whatever Wilson has left, OR, who can get Wilson to buy-in and work within the offense he designs, could look much more successful with Wilson. 1 Quote
aristocrat Posted December 26, 2022 Posted December 26, 2022 Will they go after Sean Payton to fix their 250 mil problem? They need someone to talk sense into Russ 1 Quote
