Once again, how did your actions on Saturday, help the Bills beat the Bears? I'll start...

Again, no Bills gear worn, and I was watching the game on tape delay because we were running errands and getting ready for Christmas.  But I also found out, when I could not see the game, they played better.  It was 6-10 when I had to go use the bathroom.  Come back and it's 21-10.  Went to church before the game was over, and while there check the score, 28-13.  Right before mass started, 35-13 with less than a minute to go.  So I guess I can't watch anymore games live?

I crushed 20 wings once again, the night before.  What is somewhat flummoxing, however, is that apparently there is no additional protective effect of eating wings the day of as I did not eat wings, rather, I enjoyed some ham.  Yet, the Bills still won. I guess I can give myself some grace with game day meals.  I also have attended 2 of their last 5 games so clearly that is tangential to them winning as well.

Keeping it simple and staying with wings the night before.

PS- What an awesome ride we are on.....and I think most of us can agree that while we may not be winning totally "cleanly" (whatever that means) it is hard to argue with the results. All 3 phases seem to be producing when it counts, and the scary thing is that we have not truly hit our stride yet.

I have a white long sleeve Bills Mafia t-shirt.  To my shame, I have not washed it since Nov 13th.  However, we also have not lost since.....Nov 13th.

Needless to say, my poor Bills Mafia tee will NOT be being washed again until we drop another one, OR win it all!  Here's to hoping it doesn't get washed until Monday, February 13th!

When the game was still close, I grabbed a cutout cookie in the shape of a buffalo and decorated with red and blue sugar. Before I bit it's head off, I  asked my wife if this was an ok time to eat it or if I  should be eating a bear cookie (wasn't a real option). Anyways I  ate the cookie and the rest is history.

Stayed home under a state of emergency, took a shower at halftime to wash the first half stink off me.

Same and also added Zubaz to the rest of my Bills attire post-shower as I’d forgotten to don them for the 1st half.

Tried to get the wings we got last week, but the place was closed.  Quickly called Little Caesars and got the Hula Hawaiian, mushroom pizza, and Crazy Bread.  Thanked the guy for being open and wished him a Merry Christmas.

I stayed off of the board for the entirety of the game. Kind of glad I did when I browsed through the threads afterwards.

Mojo was off, was in wrong chair since lots of family around.  Switched by to regular chair at halftime.  Clearly made a difference 😏

The only thing I can think of is that I was able to don me my Bills apparel and get to the grocery store before all of the Christmas Eve activity began for the day.

Watched the beginning of the game at my house.  Girlfriend and I headed over to my parents' at around 1:35.

After Buffalo scored its first TD on the pass to Davis, I said, "I'm gonna take a quick leak before we leave,"  then I said, "maybe I should wait until Bass kicks the extra point .... nah, he's got this."   When I came out of the bathroom to see the 7-6 score, that's when I knew that my actions were going to dictate what happened in this game.

While we were packing up her car, I noticed that my Bills flag was laying in a bush; the wind had managed to pull the entire flag pole out of the holder.  I said, "I'll get that before we leave."

Well, I forgot.  Then I forgot to text my son to ask him to fix it.

I decided that I did not want to wear my jersey to my GF's family's gathering.  At about 3pm, I changed into a flannel shirt and we headed out to her family's house .. about 15 minutes away.

The game was blacked out on the NFL Ticket app, and my girlfriend has the lower tier of Sirius/XM that does NOT include the NFL stations.  Luckily, we have a local FM radio station that broadcasts Bills games.

At the point when we left the car to go inside, the Bills were winning, but not by much.  Had they fallen behind, the jersey was in the car and I was prepared to change back into it.  Get inside and the TV isn't even on.  I wasn't about to ask them to put the game on when I was clearly the only one there who cared about it.

I will say that nearly everyone was wearing a flannel shirt, so that was a good call.

I listened to the game on my phone (quietly ,,, I put the phone, speaker side up, in my shirt pocket on the side of my good ear) via the Sirius/XM app.  Of course, I sat next to one of the guys I'm more familiar with and his mouth went like a duck's ass.  WOULD NOT STOP TALKING.  So when he finally came up for air every couple minutes, I'd just put my phone to my ear to hear what was going on.  The app also kept the score updated, so I knew the Bills were in control.

My karma game was much like the Bills game.  I did so many things that SHOULD have led to a loss, but in the end, I did enough (going to the market; watching/listening whichever way I could) to pull it out in the end.

And it was all my pleasure!

Anticipating that, I bailed you out:

I wore two layers of Bills gear: a T-shirt and a sweatshirt.

You're welcome. 🙂

We were in the midst of one of the worst storms ever in WNY and it was only fitting to give us some joy during an otherwise bleak holiday season.
