NE was #3. in 2020, Ravens were #1. As others here have pointed out, doesn't really matter. The only differential that matters is W-L. True. It’s nice to have good stats, your QB to win MVP, having the #1 defense (like we did last year) but none of that matters come playoff time. They’re good indicators of good teams, but the W is all important.
Over 29 years of fanhood
19 hours ago, GunnerBill said: The only thing to be mad about from last night is the number of really dumb individual mistakes. The team played well, totally overwhelmed and dominated Chicago and the differential would have been bigger but for some shoot ourselves in the foot moments. yes- for me the most alarming play of the game was the roll right and deep lob back to the left that should have been picked. What was Josh thinking? Sometimes it seems like comfort, rhythm, execution on schedule and efficiency are all in direct opposition to what makes him great. Regular season point differential is pretty predictive of post season success: "The last five Super Bowl winners -- and seven of the last eight -- finished in the top five of regular-season point differential." https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/how-a-simple-statistic-can-help-sort-through-nfls-immense-parity-this-season-forecast-super-bowl-contenders/ "Further, 16 of the last 20 conference title participants have hailed from the prestigious top five in point differential the season they advanced to the NFL's final four. That's 80%. Staggering."

We're only happy with a victory if our passing game was humming and Josh played lights out. Exactly. I remember those posters that said JA can't even throw for 300 yards a game even tho they were winning... Lol Go Bills!!

After a quick scan looks like we had the biggest point differential this week. Maybe I didn’t catch one better but damn. And, the weather was horrific. Not gonna be anyone slinging the ball in those brutal conditions. We won in solid fashion. You know what's really weird, that was biggest loss all year by 3-12 Bears. +1 more than their Jets loss.
