Grazie di cuore, ragazzi!! Sono di Buffalo ma ho sposato un’italiana. Abbiamo vissuto 5 anni in Italia , un anno a Parma e 4 anni a Rovereto, in Trentino. Siamo tornati a Boston … ma mi manca l’italia ogni giorno!

I'm fortunate to have family that originated in Sicily. my great grandmother came over in 1910 and settled in wny. when I was a kid and heading to go play she would grab me by the ear and show me how to cook. she would go out to the garden early in the morning and grab all the vegetables to make the sauce. by supper time it was ready and eat we did, Italian style!

 

of all the many dishes I learned to make I take pride in my (her recipe) 5 layer lasagna from scratch!

she also taught me the value of a dollar and how hard work paid off. when it came lunch time she would say are you hungry, go out and cut the grass and I'll have lunch ready when you're done.

So is mine. Around Cosenza a small town called Lago. I moved to Crotone after I got married. Italia è molto bello.
