That’s because you’re not a Bills fan.

I agree here. A Pats* like dynasty is not realistic BUT a chiefs like consistent season to season success plus a few titles sprinkled over say, 10 years would be awesome.

deep in the playoffs every year would be a wonderful thing

We’re already there my friend. I’m a believer that with JA the Bills can always compete no need to sell out like the Rams with Stanford. That’s big difference. You don’t sell out for one CHANCE to win, you build to likely win multiple titles.

Didn’t we kinda sell out with Von?

We didn’t give up any draft picks … and the salary cap goes up basically yearly

Idk how that is selling out

Old ass d end who is hurt.  If we didn’t sell out, then it sure was a poor gamble that didn’t pay off.

I'll go with a lot of winning seasons over SB and then flop

Dude we have never won a SB having a flop after it means nothing - and with this crew I’m sure they would be back to 10+ wins the next year

I think this is the worst post/take dude doesn’t want a SB and just wants wins

That is what the Process is designed to do.  draft well and sign your own.  super competitive every year.   rings will come now and then.   works for me.

They sold their future for the team they had last year.

The bills haven't come close even with the cap the way it is.  They have some tough decisions to make for sure but have all the major parts in place for the next 3-5 years.

and we draft well

We (I) watched the Bills of the 90's slowly fall with the onset of Free Agency. Losses of Wilford, Ballard, Odoms, Conlan, etc diminished the Bills edge bit by bit. High salaries (at the time) limited the Bills with it's FA's (and Wilson's tight purse strings had a heavy hand in it as well). And unlike Brady, as Kelly entered his mid 30's, he was physically done.

It appears you spend a good deal of time being wrong, tell us what it’s like, the constant disappointment must be mind numbing, as we see from the example of your post…,

oh, and  merry Christmas to you,

never said I didn't want one.  but i'd rather be very competitive and watch great games for 10-20 years than win the sb and then go back to never sniffing the  playoffs for another 15+ years

You take shots with guys like Von Miller, but they still are open about saying we are striving to attain long term success. The Rams sold their souls, but they do have a ring.

If the Bills win the SB this year I often wonder how most Bills fans would feel about a nightmare dismal type season in 2023 like the Rams are having. Would they eagerly accept that at the expense of a first world championship in Buffalo?

I say sign me up, even if the next 5 years+ suck and that's likely going to be the case for the Rams given all the big contracts and draft picks given up in trades. Same reason why Sean McVay will jump ship quickly and 'retire', at least under another promising situation presents itself.

You are always just so much fun.
