Because the pro bowl is a popularity contest by players and they know his past successes. It’s why every year I mention getting the 1st and 2nd team all pro are legitimate honors. Just like MVP, ROY defensive and offensive, and DPOY and OPOY. Those are the Crown Jewels. These things and top 100 are meaningless. Milano not getting it is all the proof you need. Donuts and Doritos Posted December 22, 2022 Posted December 22, 2022 (edited) So the pro bowl outside LBs are: Matt Judon, Khalil Mack, TJ Watt. All these guys play almost like hybrid DEs & have more sacks but less tackles & interceptions than Milano. It's almost like they value that position as an extra DE & don't value it as an extra coverage spot (which is more Milanos game). TJ Watt hasn't even played a large chunk of the season, I really don't see how he's in based on anything other than reputation. & How Saffold even gets mentioned? Again it's reputation being more important than performance. Edited December 22, 2022 by Donuts and Doritos Quote
Dablitzkrieg Posted December 22, 2022 Posted December 22, 2022 Can someone please explain to me how Cam Lewis didn't make it? 1 Quote

ArtVandalay Posted December 22, 2022 Posted December 22, 2022 (edited) In my opinion, the reason Milano is no where is because if you voted the ballots for OLB were sorted by Sacks. Milano was buried in the list at 1.5, i had trouble finding him, he was buried so far down. Edited December 22, 2022 by ArtVandalay 1 1 Quote
BillsVet Posted December 22, 2022 Posted December 22, 2022 One would think the AP All-Pro 1st and 2nd teams will be a better indicator of who's the best at their position than this hot garbage. 1 Quote

Or am I thinking of something else? If it is then fans aren't meaningless, just pushed out by the other two. Quote
thenorthremembers Posted December 22, 2022 Posted December 22, 2022 They really have to merge the Defensive End/3-4 OLB into a category called Edge Rusher because 4-3 Outside linebackers have no chance of making it against guys with 10 plus sacks. Quote
