Right. It’s pretty much common sense. These guys encounter that type stuff almost everyday out in public. My theory is the guy said something TOTALLY different than what he is claiming.

like what?  What could one stranger say to another that would prompt that beating?

and what happened to Willy was just coming after a sex offender…or something something?

The point is anyone with common sense would know that reaction wasn’t from some fan simply talking 💩 about his college. These celeb athletes get heckled about their actual play on the field and other more serious things all the time than about some recent game played by their alma mater. That’s a totally bogus story only an idiot would believe.

Common sense.  No chance that a beating of that magnitude, in a public restaurant, took place because of some snide remark about USC.

If I had to guess it was about the sexual assault charges he faced while playing at USC.

This is an old tweet from December, but I guess Willie deleted it. Is McGinest suggesting he has a defense or mitigating circumstances?

I’ve seen worse beatings triggered by less. “Common sense” doesn’t really apply to people who would assume they could get away with something like that to begin with.

But does it have to be inconclusive video evidence to count? Quick, someone cut to Gene Steratore for a half-azzed explanation.

Willie McGinest has been sued again, this time for stealing gym weights from another member using the bench press and then assaulting him with 30-40 punches to the head and back when he questioned why:

From the article above:

"The plaintiff, Andrew Cortez, claims he was using the bench press ... when someone walked up and took one of his plates.

Cortez says he told the person he was not done with the weight ... but he claims McGinest, the former New England Patriots pass rusher, overheard the exchange and said "the f*** you mean?"

According to the lawsuit, McGinest then socked Cortez in the face with a closed fist.

Cortez alleges three other men then jumped in ... and, along with McGinest, proceeded to strike him in the head and back "30 to 40 times."

He looks high AF

like his next sentence, once he gathers himself, is gonna be

"wait.  what were we talkin about, again?"  Or

"I know I'm supposed to be mad at you but i just forgot why."

The constant trend of current and former NFL players/stars proving themselves to be Sh-ty people shines a bad light on what is otherwise a fine way to spend Sunday afternoon and  all of football in general.

connecting some dots, maybe he is still juicing.  Maybe even more-so.  Still going to the gym.  With your crew with you?

At 51 and still wanting to look swoll.

Dont most NFL players either gain or lose lots of weight after they retire?  Because their bodies do not naturally look like that.  Not too many 51 year olds just look like Wille McGinest naturally.   (unless they are in prison and lift 7 days a week)

The shield only protects when you're still in the league and a top player.

I'm waiting for the Tyreek news to get swept up soon.
