If Tre doesn't get hurt Thanksgiving 2021, the Bills don't lose to the Chiefs in the 13 second game.

That said, he's making very good progress.  He played a lot of receivers very well on Saturday.

Tre' White is nowhere near his pre-ACL form.  I borrowed a page from Dickie Vitale, and called Tre' a Dow Joneser.  It seemed like he was good play, bad play, good play, bad play all night long.  The good plays show that he's getting there, the bad plays show he still has a ways to go.

Don't think White is fully recovered. He wasn't his typical demonstrative self with the official after being push-off interfered with by Waddle.

Tre got beat a couple times by the best WR in the league, it happens. But he also made some great plays contesting catches, which I felt was lacking with Dane. And they threw at him, made him prove it. I thought he played great.

Tre played far better than people think. Not perfect, or up to his normal pre-injury form, but pretty good. If he keeps improving the way he has been each week, by the time playoffs come he will be a lot closer to his pre-injury form than most thought possible, including me.

Nice to have his energy back there but he got absolutely smoked multiple times and the ‘Phins couldn’t capitalize.  He’s nowhere near peak form.

Agree with this.  He is not back to the Tre White we knew.  He may never be lets hope he can though.

I thought that he had a generally very good game. He was beaten deep once and looked slow on that particular play. That is probably how all DB's look against Hill. He was in the middle of everything. It's good to have him back.

Love this breakdown.

White is getting better and better.

I don’t think they lose to TB and maybe not to NE.

If they won one those games Bills would have had KC at home assuming the Bills beat the Steelers (likely).

He did very well on the short routes which is Tua’s bread and butter.  No doubt.  But he’s going to get targeted when they play against downfield passing teams like Cinci and KC.

I was shocked at out dink and dunk Burrow’s passing game was against the Bucs. It looks they have acknowledged that Burrow is not great under pressure and takes way too many sacks and hence they are trying to build a quick passing game.

This whole thing people are saying about Tre "getting beat bad" a couple times is being over exaggerative.  This wasn't some JAG he was covering, Hill and Waddle beat guys every week because not only are they talented, they have elite speed.

No corner wins every play 100%, its going to happen where great players like Hill and Waddle are going to make some plays too no matter who is covering them.  But Tre overall had a very good game and was great to see him playing with more trust and confidence in his leg and movement.  He played more aggressive and attacked the ball.

So for me, this was a good game for Tre and exactly what I wanted to see from him in his road to regaining his form.  He still isn't even all the way there yet, but still had a strong game for the most part.  Very encouraging as we gear up to try and win out and enter the post season.

I'm just happy to see that the Bills coaching staff realized that Elam is better than what we had out there before to help Tre.

I think where the mistake is made is that we don’t look at trey white in relation to how other teams are doing against the Miami receivers in the league this year. We are seeing hill and waddle beating very good corners all year and yet we expect white, still coming off of a major surgery to be just shutting them down I think it’s a lot to ask

Here's to hoping for a return of the old White and maybe even an improved White over time.

But it’s an odd move to line up right on them and let them get free releases.

I don't think he was trying to give them a free release. He put his hands out to chip him, but Hill just moved out the way and was gone before Tre even stepped back. I hate that we hardly ever press receivers, especially smaller ones. But it was an odd chose to have a guy that's not at peak physically try and press a guy like Hill/Waddle.
