Oh wait, that 11-3.  We won?  Again?  11-3 you say?  Excellent!

I guess I just got confused by the endless stream of:

The OC sucks.

Frazier sucks.

The defense sucks.

McKenzie sucks.

The tackling sucks.

Eff that.  This is a really good football team and a legit Superbowl contender.  Good teams win games, especially the close ones against talented teams in their own division.  Super happy today.

You forgot to mention that Sean "Glory to God" McDermott also sucks, as does last night's tackling and defense (the OC and DC are extensions of Father McDermott).  The Bills have a transcendent Quarterback, the sole reason they are a Super Bowl contender.  Without Josh Allen and with literally every other player and coach on the team, the Bills might battle for a Wild Card spot and would never sniff the Super Bowl.  Sean McDermott is a horrible game manager and rides the coattails of the superstar QB to account for his Win-Loss record.  Sean McDermott contributes literally nothing to the success of the Buffalo Bills.  If the team can win in spite of the idiot, religious fanatic coach, so be it.

We won a game in which, to me, we were outplayed.  The D line had a horrible game. Every time they ran to their right they gained a lot of yards.  Their O line blew guys off the ball all night.  And once Morse went down our O line suffered greatly.  We pulled it out because Josh is ridiculously talented.

You're happy with last night's tackling and defense?  You like the fact that the Bills needed a Superhuman Josh Allen effort to eke out a game on their home field against a Miami team which got manhandled by San Fran and the Chargers?  You think Sean McDermott manages games well and prepares the defense to perform in big games?  McDermott is a lucky, lucky man.  The Bills drafted an amazing Quarterback.  You like how McDermott blew the playoff game in Kansas City last year after the amazing QB took the lead with 13 seconds left?  It is a serious post.  I hope McDermott continues to ride Josh Allen's success.

I was very discouraged after the game and felt really bad for Josh. There was a series towards the end where the coaching staff called a bunch of designed runs, not because they were changing things up, or saw something schematically, but because they knew the offensive line couldn’t block for 2 seconds for a pass play to develop. It felt like a total surrender and highlights the terrible job Beane has done over the years to protect the kid.

Not that I disagree but how do you know what the coaching staff did?

Ok but McKenzie does suck. He is probably the weakest link.

Other than that, great game, great year. Let's get that Lombardi gosh dern it!

Bills FD stats

Diggs - 66 on 142 targets

Davis - 31 on 77 targets

McKittrick - 26 on 60 targets

Knox - 22 on 58 targets

Clearly, McKittrick blows.  Completely unreliable.  You wanna go by drops?  Here are the drop stats:

Diggs - 7

Davis - 7

Motor - 6

McKittrick - 5

Knox - 2 (???)

He's had 80 FD catches and 19 FD runs in his 5 years here.  He's 5th on the team this year in FD's after Josh, Motor, Diggs, and Davis.  Has he made every play?  No.  He had a really bad game in KC, and dropped 2 FD balls last week.  But his history is that he just makes plays, game in and game out.  Keep hatin', haterz.  I'm sticking with McKittrick.

Really? The bills led for most of the game though. They had a brutal 3rd Q.

OL was overall pretty good imo and I don't agree with Beane hate about the OL.

We paid our franchise LT. Paid 1 of the best centers in the gm. Drafted a RT in 2nd round. Got Staffold who has been  a bit His biggest mistake was trading Teller who turned into an all Pro. You put Teller on this line and we're top 5

Again, no coach or player is above reproach when warranted. We all support this team, and when you have your heart in something, feelings come out, that’s just how it is. Josh Allen covers up a lot of bad by running every play on that 4th quarter drive. He essentially saved the game after 5 straight disgusting offensive series. There’s still a disconnect and lack of fluidity in the short to intermediate pass game, and a constant divergence from the run game. The loss of Morse, and insertion of Van Roten, Hart, and Quessenberry…and still looking to throw the ball down the field 30 yards was baffling to me, as was running parallel to the line of scrimmage behind Hart, who ended up pancaked and Singletary on his back 4 yards behind the line of scrimmage. I do believe that it’s always execution over play calling but you need to help your players on the field, and sometimes protect them. Know your personnel and adapt. Dorsey is still inexperienced and i expect them to get better. All that being said, this team has huge heart, and finding ways against good teams.

Yup, because when it comes right down to it, as a fan, there are really only two parameters to be concerned with, and those two are the win and the loss columns, we are 11-3 the fish are 8-6.

GO BILLS!!!

Jesus Christ. The game tying and game winning drives felt like the Bills were surrendering?

Josh Allen running for 44 yards right down their throat in a snow storm felt like surrendering?

Alrighty then.

We lose to all those teams if we put up 32 points? Interesting.

And don't forget the defense only allowing 29 points.  Guess if you are one of the above teams they get different results based in those same scores.

The tackling sucks.

This is a football fundamental, and this defense is absolutely atrocious at it.  They go for style points, trying to punch the ball out, rather than make the tackle and stop the runner from reaching the line to gain.

Please look at this play again and tell me the tackling is acceptable.  This isn't a one-time thing either, it feels like this happens several times each game:

That really turned out to be a game-saving horse collar tackle by Johnson.
