Warriorspikes51
I'm seeing people claiming that if the Bills decide not to use heaters, the Dolphins can't either. Anyone know what the official rules are on this?
SCBills
Pretty sure that’s accurate. It’s too bad our sideline isn’t built on a hot spring so we could mimic the absurd advantage Miami has. If we choose to freeze our limbs off, we can force Miami to do so as well. 3 2

Anyone know what the official rules are on this? Teams have to use the same equipment as the opposing team, so there's no advantage. So if Miami brings up the Desert Blaster 2000 Bench Warmer, and the Bills say they won't use their bench warmer, Miami can't use theirs.
JoPoy88
Sounds like something that would fall under the Equity Rule: https://operations.nfl.com/gameday/behind-the-scenes/nfl-equity-rule/#:~:text=Under the equity rule%2C the, competitive factors on game day.”

There was an advantage for Miami whose sideline was 40 degrees cooler than the Bills....the Bills were not allowed to use AC
NewEra
We should have heaters on the sideline. It doesn’t matter that Miami will be allowed them as well. Our players don’t wanna be out there in the cold with no heat. Period 7 12
frostbitmic
Whatever they do, there won't be any heaters on the field of play. 1

They don't have to use any shades on their side due to the stadium design so opposing teams can't use any either. Brilliant, but cruel. 1

Do that right before kickoff and our guys will feel warm without heat 😆
JoPoy88
Sorta on topic: the Dolphins had heaters in LA. It was 55 degrees: https://www.sportingnews.com/us/amp/nfl/news/dolphins-heaters-los-angeles-bills-buffalo-weather/mhn3uepdscqeibdizsnpa9fv Edited December 15, 2022 by JoPoy88

ExiledInIllinois
How come the Dolphins can add a semi roof to their stadium that gives the home team sideline more shade and a 40°-50° cooler temperatures than the visitor's sideline? 1 minute ago, Gisele said: They intentionally built their stadium this way. Danger Mouse
We don't need to focus on that stuff. We're a much better team. Let them bring as many heaters as they want.
Process
This is becoming silly. It was cute at first but let's move on. The weather is gonna suck, which is bad for both teams. Edited December 15, 2022 by Process 2
babulator
IDK ,I work outside 8 hours a day on most days and I don't need to wheel a heater around behind me. Granted, I'm not wearing tights, but I say Freeze the Fish! 2
