H2o Posted December 13, 2022 Posted December 13, 2022 That's sad news. His offenses were a thing to watch in college football over the years. Condolences to his friends and family. Sorry @The Senator 1 Quote

Man, how'd you like to have Mike Leach's kidneys ... Since this seems to be rubbing people the wrong way, I just want to point out that I think it's great that he donated organs (I am signed up to donate my own) and this is not a dig at Leach, only a joke about his reputation as a prolific drinker of soda / cola. BRH Posted December 13, 2022 Posted December 13, 2022 Someone pointed out to me recently that 9 of Leach's assistants have gone on to hold 15 D-1 head coaching jobs, and he was only 61. Quite a coaching tree. 1 2 1 Quote

jkeerie Posted December 13, 2022 Posted December 13, 2022 Always appreciated his sideline interviews. He had such a dry sense of humor. Sneakily hysterical! RIP coach. 1 Quote

Heels20X6 Posted December 13, 2022 Posted December 13, 2022 RIP Mr. Leach. During the tougher times of the Bills era, I really enjoyed the running gag where every coach we had should have been replaced by him. 1 1 Quote
DaBillsFanSince1973 Posted December 13, 2022 Posted December 13, 2022 r.i.p. coach. 61 is too young to go. he was a great coach 1 Quote

BillsVet Posted December 13, 2022 Posted December 13, 2022 RIP Coach Leach. He was a true original in the game of football and will be missed. There was a noted poster on TBD, "The Senator" who used to talk him up as a Bills HC candidate that is also no longer with us. RIP Senator as well. 1 1 Quote

C.Biscuit97 Posted December 13, 2022 Posted December 13, 2022 Crazy how fragile life is. Coaching and seems fine a week ago to this as much as they get paid, I would have no desire to ever be a big time coach. The stress is crazy and fans are constantly calling for your job. Seemed like Leach had a pretty good attitude about things but were there questions about his health before? 25 minutes ago, BillsVet said: RIP Coach Leach.
