I don’t watch enough patriot football in detail to know. Just like you don’t watch enough bills football in detail to know that Mccaffery would make our offense top 5 all time. 1 Quote

If nothing else would give Allen another reliable receiver. Quote

Don’t get me wrong, he’d be phenomenal in our backfield…..but top 5 offenses ever….. with Ken Dorsey calling plays, Mckenzie in the slot, Gabe David WR2- Saffold, Spencer brown and Ryan bates starting in the OL? Cmac is special. Josh is even better. But there are too many holes that can’t be covered up by a RB in order to make this O top ever. Not even close 1 Quote
ehfeuh57 Posted December 14, 2022 Posted December 14, 2022 He plays in the Shanahan System. No QB has ever been bad in it. Doesnt mean he's good. Garropolo was never actually good. Quote
Georgia Bill Posted December 14, 2022 Posted December 14, 2022 Their D looks pretty impressive. With a conservative game manager type QB they could go deep into the playoffs. He's looked like more than just a game manager the first 2 games. A big question for me will be if they get into the playoffs, will he wilt under the pressure of it all, or keep playing with the confidence he's been showing? Quote
Southern_Bills Posted December 14, 2022 Posted December 14, 2022 In all honesty he seems like a smart player who works well in Shanahans QB friendly system. Another cog in the wheel so to speak. I don't mean any disrespect to him, he just isn't a guy to carry a team, he just works well in the system which is why he is on that team. Quote

It’s the same reason that Tua is so much better this year. They just get the ball to playmakers in space and let them do the work. In fact, the Deebo injury will be more impactful than the Garoppolo injury. Yes, this is the opposite of the Bills offensive system, where veteran and rookie receivers can’t just be plugged in because it’s too complicated. Quote

Can't remember his name off the top of my head. 9ers have a really good team though. Mcafrey is a stud. Purdy doesn't have to be as good when you have playmakers like that there are dozens of recent examples. A few from the niners. Are you thinking of Colin kaepernick? 29 minutes ago, BobbyC81 said: Yes, this is the opposite of the Bills offensive system, where veteran and rookie receivers can’t just be plugged in because it’s too complicated. unfortunately, it ends with needing to pay a lot of elite play makers PLUS a mediocre qb getting the biggest pay check of all- making it hard long term. No, I was thinking of nick Mullens 1 Quote

Italian Bills Posted January 15, 2023 Author Posted January 15, 2023 Ok… maybe it could seem exaggerated, but i really hate Brock Purdy. I hate the fact that people talk about him like the next Tom Brady. Will this Purdy circus-bandwagon end soon or will i have to tolerate this long time ? Can’t stand his fake-baby face any longer… and his raucous voice while at the snap count. Quote
ExiledInIllinois Posted January 15, 2023 Posted January 15, 2023 At least he's not in the Division... 1 Quote
JerseyBills Posted January 15, 2023 Posted January 15, 2023 That team looks really good.. Possibly playing the best football in the game Chris Berman might get his wish of SF Buf SB Quote

I’m sick of the Brock love too 1 Quote
Since1981 Posted January 15, 2023 Posted January 15, 2023 (edited) I don’t get ‘hate’ purdy. What has he done bad? Strong word. He’s a lucky man, for sure. A guy like Mac Jones swinging for men’s jewels—a better place for dislike. 49ers are a freakin stacked team Edited January 15, 2023 by Since1981 1 Quote
LabattBlue Posted January 15, 2023 Posted January 15, 2023 11 months ago at the draft he was Mr Irrelevant. Now he is the starting QB of a team two games away from the SB. Give the guy a little credit. Not every QB is Josh Allen or Patrick Mahomes. 2 1 Quote

Since1981 Posted January 15, 2023 Posted January 15, 2023 Btw. Niners have QB 4 yr contract pick #262. Virtually a free QB! opens up a monster roster Quote
Playoffs? Posted January 15, 2023 Posted January 15, 2023 I have no issue with Purdy. Good for him. He’s clearly being put in a great position to succeed, and he’s taking full advantage. 1 Quote
