JerseyBills Posted December 14, 2022 Posted December 14, 2022 (edited) Stopping Mia favorite concept- Get this to McD and Frazier. I'm kidding, i already told em. they're on it. In exchange McDermott gave me clapping tips and how to execute the perfect clap. He really is a master clapper.🤣 But that's some beautiful execution and preparation by The Chargers and especially in the elements on Sat night, I don't believe Tua has the arm strength to hit the out routes. The Dolphins are obviously in warm weather all year. If it's windy, their QB has a weak arm and will have trouble cutting through the elements particularly on down field passes. Tyreek Hill, who has a bum ankle, will have trouble on a slick surface even if he's at 70%. The Dolphins also lost their starting RB Jeff Wilson who I doubt plays and Raheem Mostert has been playing with a bulky knee that last 4 or 5 games as well. Dolphins defense also struggles away from home in trying to stop anyone. Just look at the splits this year its a huge difference. Someone posted earlier that the Bills are like 10-1 in games below a certain temperature threshold with McD. If so, it seems like you are wrong about the bills being the team at the disadvantage. 1 Quote

We’re top 10 in rushing offense and top 5 in rushing defense, we’ve got a very physical wr1 and a qb with a huge arm that can run like a fullback. There aren’t too many teams that are better off in bad weather. we heard all week leading up to the Cleveland game that nick Chubb was gonna run all over us in the snow and he couldn’t even run all over us in a dome where the threat to throw was there lol 14 carries for 19 yards 2 Quote
Logic Posted December 14, 2022 Posted December 14, 2022 I'm excited about this one. Big game, bright lights, high stakes, winter weather, a rivalry reborn. It doesn't get better than this. 2 1 Quote

I have the Bruins, Celtics, and even the Red Sox to cheer for in Pro sports as well. Right now the Bruins are the most exciting and the Celtics are good as well. So up here usually at least 1 good Pro team, but still I prefer watching my son play football or my son and daughter play basketball. (Although I loath basketball almost as much as soccer lol) 1 Quote

Where do Tua and the Phish want to throw the ball? I get it, you're saying the fish do not like throw to the outside but instead like quick throws down the middle. what I'm saying is in order for it to work, to force them throwing to the sideline, you have to be able to stop it. from what I've seen bills are not very good at defending sideline passes. 1 Quote
Dan Posted December 14, 2022 Posted December 14, 2022 Agreed! This game is huge! Its the last of a tough stretch of games and could set us up for an awesome run into the playoffs. With a win, we’re in the playoffs, have 99% chance of winning the Division (meaning 1 guaranteed home playoff game), amd retain the #1 overall seed for another week; all while beating the Dolphins! This is a big game and I’m looking forward to a beat down while the fans are going wild! 3 Quote
CNYfan Posted December 14, 2022 Posted December 14, 2022 I think that the heavy investment in the Defensive Line is not only a key element of the McDermott Defensive theme (rotation) but also is a great strategy for these cold weather home games down the stretch. The way the D-Line played against the jersey b team was very encouraging. The strong line play in those elements played a part in the defensive stifling the opposition and I think we will see some of that again on Saturday. 1 Quote

The thing is Josh doesnt play great but we usually win the games. So its annoying since we expect and want Josh to ball out. But end of the day a win is a win. Last year the Falcons and Panthers games come to mind. We won both but didnt play great. Another is Baltimore earlier this year. 2 Quote

If the Bills beat Miami and win another game they not only clinch the division but the 3 seed is the lowest they can finish. Squish the Fish and see where things fall after that. 1 Quote

Scott7975 Posted December 14, 2022 Posted December 14, 2022 A lot of talk about people hoping McFrasier takes note of what the Charges did to stop Miami. The Bills did a good job of it the first matchup. Had we had a healthy defense that week it would have been even better. Other teams actually take note of what we do on defense as well but nobody wants to credit our coaches for that. 4 3 Quote
