Einstein Posted January 1, 2023 Posted January 1, 2023 Yeah he looks quite good in NY. Makes you wonder why he couldn’t get on the field here. Not like we have all-stars at WR outside of Diggs. 1 1 Quote
Boatdrinks Posted January 1, 2023 Posted January 1, 2023 Good for him. Not going to get bent out of shape with what transpired though. I would have swapped Hodgins with our other Isaiah at the time however and I’d certainly do it now. Never been sold on McKenzie and I’m gritting my teeth whenever he is targeted. 1 1 Quote
Big Turk Posted January 1, 2023 Posted January 1, 2023 Hodgins striking again...he seems to be a lock for a 6 yard TD each week haha 1 Quote

Sharky7337 Posted January 1, 2023 Posted January 1, 2023 Talen evaluation of our own players continues to be worrisome. 1 1 1 Quote
Aussie Joe Posted January 1, 2023 Posted January 1, 2023 If he was still here he would be rotting away on the PS.... least he has the opportunity to go make some coin..... wasnt going to get that here.. 2 Quote
Brand J Posted January 1, 2023 Posted January 1, 2023 I’m not overly surprised he’s producing once given the chance. I was one who held out hope that he’d work out based on the positive press he was receiving alongside Gabe Davis their rookie years. Quote

He also was not a good WR blocker and Jake was used as that a lot and he is the best the Bills have. Quote
Airseven Posted January 1, 2023 Posted January 1, 2023 Hodgins and Daboll deserve credit. Stars aligned. 1 Quote
streetkings01 Posted January 1, 2023 Posted January 1, 2023 Take Gabe Davis and put him on the Giants and he’s their #1 WR. Hodgins with Giants reminds me of the Justin Hunter situation back in 2016. 58 minutes ago, Sharky7337 said: Talen evaluation of our own players continues to be worrisome. How so? 1 Quote

The evaluation of Hodgins in Buffalo was that he wasn’t going to move up the depth chart…and that was fair. They stuck with him plenty long on PS. He found an opportunity with NYG and took advantage of it. What’s worrisome in Buffalo is evaluation of guys like Saffold (washed) and Bernard (reach). 1 Quote

hemma Posted January 1, 2023 Posted January 1, 2023 No surprise to me. All of the tbd ‘talent experts’ bs about ‘can’t get separation’ has proven to be much less important than a receivers primary job; catch the ball. 1 1 Quote

He's always had great hands, and a knack for getting open. For Buffalo, his lack of a contribution on special teams was an issue. He's starting for the Giants, so that's not an issue for them. 1 Quote
