Any news on Ryan Bates injury? Can’t find anything so far. Please post here any updates. We need him badly next week watch Wilkins dominate today against the Chargers.

I was assuming the turf in Detroit caused problems but that wouldn't make sense at home.

Is there a common factor with the cleats injured players are using?  Not enough give? If the foot is staying planted when reasonable force should cause movement, it could easily lead to ankle and knee injuries.

Dawkins pancakes John Franklin Meyers as he pulled on Josh’s TD run.  Meyers lands on the back of Bates legs injuring the ankle.

 

Less about the guy doing the taping and more about bad luck when the Bills Tackle pulls and flattens a guy.

Before long we will be putting players on the field with crutches and wheelchairs with all the ankle injuries.  In some player cases there could be an advantage to that

There's gotta be a way to minimize these ankle injuries. Better conditioning, better taping, better cleat selection based on field or conditions?  Our OL is bad enough healthy without one of our more reliable guys going down.
