Their vote for what? The House was already going to block any measure to help the USA or freedom generally. I'm sure Joe will still be able to stuff the judiciary with judges of a liberal bent. 1
Doc Posted December 9, 2022 Posted December 9, 2022 Manchin should switch as well, if not go Republican. Might be the only way to win again in 2024.

Probably true but probably a good idea to make the change now to try and convince voters to give him a 2nd chance. But Sinema is still caucusing with the Dems, right? 1
BillStime Posted December 9, 2022 Posted December 9, 2022 Murkowski should pull a Sinema and align as an Independent...
SCBills Posted December 9, 2022 Posted December 9, 2022 Murkowski, Sinema and Manchin are basically all independent (by American standards). Sanders technically is, but only because he’s a socialist - he may be a pain to some Dems but he’ll never threaten to vote with R’s. Murkowski won’t flip because McConnell saved her in Alaska. Without his money, she would’ve lost to a way more conservative challenger. Manchin is done in West Virginia. Small chance to survive if he flips to R. He ended his political career when he supported the Inflation Reduction Act. He’ll lose to someone like Jim Justice next election.
Big Blitz Posted December 9, 2022 Posted December 9, 2022 On the stuff that actually matters (not fake meaningless same sex marriage nonsense in order to call someone a bigot) the Senate is 52-48 Republican.
ChiGoose Posted December 9, 2022 Posted December 9, 2022 Looking forward to Sinema’s new job at Fox News in 2024. 1 1
SoCal Deek Posted December 9, 2022 Posted December 9, 2022 Should be just a few hours until Romney follows suit.
