Gotta think he's done.  We brought him in as a guy to compliment this very talented defense, and make a few game changing plays in the postseason....

Guy has ACL's like old dried up rubber bands... LOL....

Quite a career, its been a pleasure watching over the years, Von.

I think it's fair to say that we have absolutely no idea what is Miller's prognosis.  It's entirely possible that he's back for camp and plays all of 2023.

This all of a sudden looks like it could be the worst contract in the NFL

Off the top of my head contracts that are worse even if Von Miller never plays again

Russel Wilson

Kyler Murray

Deshaun Watson (that's a spicy take but we'll see)

Kenny Golloday

Dee Ford

Michael Thomas

I just want to know how we went from he’ll be back in a month playing with a brace to season ending ACL surgery. How did they get that so wrong?

Look upthread, the MRI didn’t show the tear

I think we are all missing some points of interest here.

#1. This could be a career ender, especially if this is a full tear

#2. GM's make deals with even the best of players to part ways do to injuries that does not affect the cap as much as people think.

#3. Von Effect is here in buffalo forever. Von made our young DL players MUCH MUCH better. They learned from here and that will be the

gift that keeps giving. The future is bright for what we have. Oliver, Edmunds, AJ, Rousseau.. they all playing better because of what they learned.

Von gave this defense the killer attitude. this will never go away

If I am McBeane, I am likely trying to work out an injury settlement in the offseason. Who wants to stick around for a 34 year old pass rusher to recover from his second ACL injury?

This could be a career ender.
He could come back and be productive.

His cost is too high to stick around and find out.

They were needing to take more of a look at it as the swelling went down, as a random guess.

Right now Shaq has earned that spot. He’s been the 3rd best DE imo

Shaq has his strong points, but rushing the passer isn't one of them. The drop off from Von to Shaq in terms of pass rush is like falling off a cliff, IMO.

this is my point. The cap this frees up for our future will be immense do to an injury settlement that does NOT affect the cap like people think it does

This team is still better than last year’s when 13 seconds prevented a likely Super Bowl appearance and win.
not deterred. We have Joan Allen.
