What a kick in the balls. Like last year with Tre, one of the few guys on the team we couldn’t afford to lose. And we lose him same day. He was supposed to be our closer. Season has been awful from an injury perspective.

It's not the end of the world, but idk how any Bills fan can be okay with this outside of blind optimism. He was supposed to be their finisher in the playoffs. He's the one type of game changer that could put them over the top.

It does suck, but whatever can't change it, so ***** it just win.

Imagine being Von waking up to that news…can you imagine?  You go on the table thinking it’s a meniscus repair with hopes you will play this year and then get told you are out up to a year.

I smell a McD power grab conspiracy!

This all of a sudden looks like it could be the worst contract in the NFL

Russell Wilson and the Broncos say, hold my beer....

Boy the 13 seconds come back to haunt. Should have done it then now look at this.

essentially same team minus Jerry, and Hyde. Von out. Tre back but hobbled. And I’d argue Levi is equivalent to the other corner.

their D last year wasn’t good enough for kc. It certainly won’t be good enough this year

Sucks

This stinks, and I wish him a speedy recovery. Miller’s production can never be replaced, but if just one of our endless list of highly drafted D line guys could be consistent, it’d go a long way towards helping a Super Bowl run.

Should have kept Hughes. Many of us said it during last offseason. So this is not the retrospetoscope. Poor choice to go with Epenesa and Basham as primary backups. Oh well they have every opportunity to perform now. No excuses now. Make plays or get labeled a bust.

I think we are all missing some points of interest here.

#1. This could be a career ender, especially if this is a full tear

#2. GM's make deals with even the best of players to part ways do to injuries that does not affect the cap as much as people think.

#3. Von Effect is here in buffalo forever. Von made our young DL players MUCH MUCH better. They learned from here and that will be the

gift that keeps giving. The future is bright for what we have. Oliver, Edmunds, AJ, Rousseau.. they all playing better because of what they learned.

Von gave this defense the killer attitude. this will never go away

Not to take the human aspect away from this.

But his contact has officially become a problem going forward....

VM should just retire and take an injury settlement

Gotta think he's done.  We brought him in as a guy to compliment this very talented defense, and make a few game changing plays in the postseason....

Guy has ACL's like old dried up rubber bands... LOL....

Quite a career, its been a pleasure watching over the years, Von.

i agree

I know this will change within a day or two, but I'm leaning into the "sky is falling" sentiment right now.  It's not even a out this year at this point, but the future and the cap.  This f'ing sucks balls, man.  My inner Hudson from Aliens is really taking over right now.

This means even more that we need to win the SB this year.  Use it as a rallying cry.  We need to take advantage of this years team and possible 1 seed.

Bills signed Von Miller so he can "gEt To MahOmes...derrr". Did the Bengals needed a Von Miller when they beat the Chiefs last week and last year's AFCCG?

They could have used him sure. Mahomes scored at will on them in the 1st half of the AFCCG. Mahomes did his disappearing act in the 2nd half like he did against the Bucs.

This latest game, Mahomes was driving at will against the Bengals. A Kelce fumble changed the tide. One punt.

AJ and Basham need to man the F up and bring it.
