Regarding free agency- what player does not want to play for the Bills?

Hamlin did pull the world together.

highest rated game in MNF history.

everyone saw what great men stepped up- Danny and the first responders, Cincy doctors,  McDermott, Taylor, Josh…

we cried with Tra and Siran and Dane and all the Bills players and coaches and everyone

Bills players grieving, hysterical, devastated - those images will always stick with most of us, the humanity and love this team has for Hamlin and one another, it shined

We collectively sent positive energy, and were grieving, cheering, and now we are all riding this positive vibe.

every one is a fan of watching our Bills play, even if the Bills aren’t their favorite team.

I read it over on message boards-I’m an eagles fan and I’m rooting for Buffalo.  I read most every team having fans saying let’s go Buffalo.

The whole world is rooting for the Bills this weekend, except for maybe eastern Massachusetts.  But lots of them are rooting for Bills.

The Bills are rock solid - Pegula, Beane, McDermott.  Top Notch Medical staff.  The Cincy doctors praised Bills medical staff.  The world witnessed their skills.

The best training facility in the NFL, a sweet new stadium by 2025, Josh ***** Allen,

if NFL players or NFL fans voted on best fan base in NFL-the vast majority would say that the best fans in the world is Bills Mafia!

City of great neighbors

These are just some of the reasons why I believe most NFL players would love to be a Buffalo Bills player.

even against the cap, and Beane being a savvy bargain shopper usually, perhaps FAs give Bills discount, for all reasons above

These are some of the reasons why I think both Oliver and Edmunds will accept reasonable offers to stay.

Would you want to leave?

And if a player did opt to sign the best offer they get can't blame them for that given the same Hamlin situation shows that it can be over in one play.  So I would wish the player well and then see what we have after fa and draft.  We will have alot of players that will want to play here with the positives that seem to keep pouring out from Buffalo.  So I think we will still be able to draft as they would like to based on their scouting reports and they will target vet ol fa and think they'll get it solid going into the Bills season as defending Champs.

No question they’ll go Safety if that’s the case. They’ve yet to demonstrate they can help themselves…

There is also the argument it's better to have a 5th yr option on a promising rookie wr.  And I think they will  get some solid vets to beef up the oline.  I'm pretty confident this front office and McDermott have been hitting goals steadily and we are now entering the home stretch and think we have enough to cross that finish line in first place.  Don't know or care if the lead alternates prior to the finish line.  I'm good with a photo finish win if need be.

At first glance it is not a very strong OL draft at the top. WR position is promising, but I think the strength of this draft, keeping in mind that it is very early, is defense.

OL in the middle rounds has a bunch of guys that will be future starters.

I need to definitely put in their scouting on this if they’re going to do middle rounds for that position

When you’re drafting that late, you really need to let the draft come to you because players will fall for whatever reason gotta be open minded about the position

Some of my thoughts as to why they wait until mid to late rounds for OL and may depend on 1 guy, Morse.

If Morse returns and finishes his contract, I think our starting 5 are basically already in place.

Dawkins, Ike (I like Ike😉), Morse, Bates and Brown.

I think Ike returns and they like him, otherwise I don't think they would have kept him this year.

Doyle is already here as a SWT. I believe they will re-sign Saffold as he already stated he will do whatever it takes to stay. I also think they will re-sign one if not two of Q, Hart or GVR to have veteran depth or a FA guard(like a Risner?). So you're only looking at some depth and future starters for 24' and beyond. So I just don't see day 1 or early day two picks being used. Plus you still have OT's Anderson and Van Demark on the PS for the past year.

May not be popular, but all in all, 3rd or later for OL.

Also, Given our track record easing rookies in, I just don't see an early pick being used.

I thought the Bills would draft a Safety on the first 3 rounds before the Hamlin injury but now I think they may draft 2 Safeties since they have no depth there. They will absolutely go WR, G, DT, OT. I think their plan at Center is Bates.

It's not a bad lineup but both guards are on the weaker side when it comes to run blocking. Time to draft some new blood for the pipeline.

Agree on Bates if Morse retired.

As to Saftey. As we've discussed for years now. McD and this staff are excellent at grooming or getting the best out of DB's. If this is truly the case, why would we draft safeties early or often? Both Poyer and Hyde were later round picks and look at what they've done.

I'm for new blood, just see it rnd 3 or later and maybe only 1 or 2 at most drafted. Could definitely see a couple of undrafted OL being signed though.
