Completely different teams.

So happy for this team after everything they've had to deal with in recent weeks but now the pressure is back on to hold position as both the AFCE leader and #1 seed in conference.

Also remember at this point last year the Patriots were in the same exact spot and we all know how that ended up when the dust settled in the final weeks of the season. In other words let's not get overconfident and cocky just yet.

Bills are 9-2 in regular season Dec and Jan games the last two seasons.

Why do we need to remember anything about the Patriots?

So what you're saying is, I have to root for Tom Brady and Pete Carroll.

Never let anyone say I don't go the extra mile for my team.

I’m hoping the Bucs win tonight.  I want them motivated for the Bengals.

Great week of football.  Everything fell the right way for the Bills.

Five weeks left, and Buffalo controls it's own destiny.  However, the upcoming schedule will not be easy.  They face three good teams currently in position to make the playoffs (Jets, Dolphins, Bengals), and a fourth still in the hunt (Patriots).  Compare that to the cakewalk remaining for the Chiefs, who get three of the worst teams in the entire NFL (Texans and the Broncos twice), along with the Raiders and Seahawks.  The odds-makers still think Kansas City has the edge in getting homefield advantage.

On a positive note, the team finally appears to be getting healthier.  They seem to have gotten over yet another frustrating mid-season lull.

We are now in the final home-stretch.  Hopefully the Bills can keep their heads-down, and finish STRONG.  One week at a time.  Five wins.  Week off.  Three more wins.  Trophy.

The Bills have a brutal 5 game stretch to end the season but their destiny is in their own hands. Win against the Jets at home and go from there.

The Bears and Patriots aren't particularly brutal

Neither should be the Jets.  They have a solid defense but a legit competitor should be beating the Jets, Pats, Bears 90% of the time.

The point is seeding is not locked in and is likely going to change quite a bit between now and the end of the week 18, not just in terms of some of the division races, but WC seeding and the classic 'In the hunt' teams making a move late.

And still think the margin of error is razor thin for the Bills compared to the Chiefs that basically just need to show up the rest of the way given their pathetic schedule. Bills need to basically win out and still think that's highly unlikely even if they have refocused and hungry again. Bengals game is going to be MASSIVE.

Rivalry? They’ve lost to them 3 times in the last 12 months.

I think it's telling that after losing to the Bengals his instinct was to troll the Bills.

Raiders may very well be the toughest test remaining for KC. Especially if Raiders keep playing the way they have been. Seattle has been a surprise. But that game is in KC. If it was in Seattle it would be a different story. Texans is obviously a gimme for them. Broncos x 2 are wins. They have no offense.

Looks like Raiders & Seattle are the only two possible potential losses there.

We can't go no worse than 4-1 down the stretch here.

Bills just came off of 3 straight games they were supposed to win. The NFL does that with the contenders every season.

Remember when the Broncos were going to be a "threat" in the AFC? Not KC's fault the Broncos suck so bad.

It's obviously coming down to the Bills, Chiefs, & Bengals. The rest of the chasers are way more flawed and need a ton of fortune to get to the SB. I wouldn't sweat it too much honestly. The Bills seem built to win anywhere, home field won't guarantee a dam thing.
