I am not so sure of this. The Ohio State passing game looks very good.

They're certainly capable of doing it to any team in the country.

I thought the line would move more but Vegas anticipates a close game: the public is absolutely hammering UGA -6.5 and Vegas is content to let them do so without moving to the magic number 7 (in fact the line opened at 7 but very quickly moved to 6.5 after some very notable bets taken on Ohio State). Interestingly it looks like the sharps are on the Ohio State ML with 2/3 of the handle on Ohio State...but similar to the spread Vegas isn't budging much on those odds either.

We actually saw something very similar recently in the Bills-Dolphins Saturday night matchup. Similar open, similar money splits, everything indicating Vegas believed that the Bills win by less than a touchdown...and they won by less than a touchdown.

I'm anticipating a close game but won't be shocked if UGA runs them out of the building. An inferior Michigan squad has, now two years in a row, beaten Ohio State through out-muscling and out-coaching them. Those are weaknesses that UGA can take advantage of as well.  On the other hand, the Georgia defense hasn't been tested quite like this so far this year; Ohio State's WRs will be the best they've seen. I got UGA by 4. Gonna be a fun one!

Holy steam. Ohio state down to +5. Not very often you see the pros and the public all going against the best team in the country.

TCU exposing the Michigan defense shows how bad Big Ten offensive football is.

i don’t think so, IMO. This is a real flukey game, and when it turned into a track meet, you are seeing neither defense playing at its normal level.

That’s fair, and I’ll be the first to admit TCU and the Big 12 doesn’t play defense, but does the Big Ten have an offense worth a salt other than Ohio State? I was always a Big Ten guy, but started watching more SEC and Big 12 this season. The offensive football in the Big Ten is like watching paint dry imo.

Curious use of timeouts on defense from Harbaugh.

How? He had to preserve some clock.

Just now, SCBills said:

Not a Michigan fan, and was rooting for TCU, but that was 100% targeting.

Refs just didn’t want to call it in that moment.

Yeah, that was a garbage non call.

Some horrible officiating in this game. It will the subject of some dispute certainly.

Stupid goal line playcalling, and bad officiating are the stories.
