Most pundits that track this have been saying $220M-$225M for next year. Every extra dollar will be needed by Beane to keep the guys he wants and to acquire a couple additional players.

BarleyNY
Big jumps in cap space always help teams keep their players. Good to have a team that we want to largely keep intact
No_Matter_What
This is NOT a good news imo, in a sense that it was very likely to be over $220M, so this just confirms it. Be we need it to be more, hopefully around $225M.

Mango
Spotrac has it at $220M including $1.5M of rollover for us and we are still $10M over/in the red. Crossing my fingers for $240M. Hahaha Edited December 5, 2022 by Mango
Warriorspikes51
The cap is basically like the speed limit or monopoly money 1

Don’t forget about the gambling money. I have a feeling that’s the extra bump we are seeing.
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch
Everytime there's early predictions on what the cap will be, it always exceeds that amount by a fair amount, so not too worried.
Utah John
How much lower would the cap be, if we didn't have Thursday Night Football on Amazon Prime? It would be worth it.

I expect Allen's contract to be upgraded in the next two years, especially when we win a SB or two. Go Bills !
