In what probably comes as no surprise to many, the Philadelphia Eagles took home the rudest fanbase. After all, these are the same supporters who pelted Santa Claus with snowballs and threw D cell batteries at their own players, as confirmed by a coach who won a Super Bowl with the team.

But the biggest gripe with the Eagles faithful? Starting too many fights. Same with the second-place Las Vegas Raiders. The Dallas Cowboys apparently “heckle too much.”

The Jacksonville Jaguars, meanwhile, were the nicest.

The Los Angeles teams fared fairly well in this regard, though one member of the Rams organization was called out for being thin-skinned.

Coach Sean McVay came in seventh on the list of coaches most easily offended.

‘I want justice’; Chargers fan tossed off pedestrian bridge at SoFi Stadium speaks out

oh dear. I'm guessing the OP's link didn't ask Senor Chargers fan whose fanbase HE thought was the rudest.  Wow.

The truth of the matter is any NFL stadium including our own beloved Highmark can have unnecessary drama occur. I'm not an anarchist. Let's have some order

But at one particular game I attended in san diego (Monday Night Football the chargers vs Dolphins)  during the time when  Bryan Cox was giving the Bills huge middle finger smack and we fans hated his guts........Im sure some of you remember that era...anyway I went with hubby in full Bills gear and I heckled the crap out of the fish that night.

I share this because that was a RANDOM incident. Im sure the fish fan thought I was despicable. Oh My. There was even a sheet painted with a messAge at Jack Murphy that night..it said "Bryan Cox WANTED IN BUFFALO"

classic 🙂

I do love me some NFL football, the rivalries, all of it.

PS: AFC West rivalries do tend to be pretty mean. Raiders aren't the only ones starting fights at their games just sayin'

I read that too! Sounds like Chargers fans aren't even safe in their own "home" stadium too! YIKES!

Once watched a guy try to open the wrong side of a port a potty, fail, piss himself, and then fall head first into the ground.

Wish I could say that was at a Bills game.   It was at my wife's hillbilly side of the family reunion.   Guy wasn't even a relative.   Didnt get the chance to ask if he liked the Bills.  That's on me.

Does "nice" factor in "annoying" or "obnoxious"? Because if @boyst, @Royale with Cheese, and I heard "DUUUUUUVAAALLLLLLL WELCOME TO SACKSONVILLE" shouted into the back of our heads one more time, dude was about to get punched.

I've always heard Green Bay fans are the absolute nicest people and kindest hosts to visiting fans from other teams. There's no part of me that believes that Jacksonville fans are nicer or more welcoming than them.

The rudest fans in my mind would belong to the Eagles and Jets, but being as those people primarily are from Philly and Jersey, that's no surprise.

As for Bills fans...I love 'em, they're my people, they do all the charity stuff and have the great tailgating and are super loyal, etc, etc....but my god, I have seen some of the most disgusting and ridiculous inebriation-related spectacles and ordeals at Bills games. Just really gross stuff. Super embarrassing, a lot of it. Bills games so often seem like a "getting blackout drunk" festival, where football is secondary to binge drinking on a Sunday morning.

As I wore my Bills gear around Green Bay before a game I was shocked by how many times I heard “welcome to Wisconsin”.  The nicest thing I can say about Jags fans, where I’ve been numerous times, is that they were willing to sell their tickets to Bills fans.

Sadly accurate comments regarding the drinking at Bills games. I narrowly avoided having a young lady puke on my shoes last game I was there.

No joke. I had a dude square up on the out when we got separated. It's have been fun too because he wasmy size and buzzed.

The Houston fans in the playoffs weren't bad, though. @Royale with Cheeseand I were fine

@LeviFand I had a home game, i think it was him... Patriots game MNF maybe. And there were some idiot patriots fans that despite winning were pussies.

Houston fans were very hospitable.  They even helped us out by saving their loudest cheers for when their offense was huddling.  Sweet people.  Not very football savvy.  There was one highly drunk guy heckling Bills fans from a distance as we walked out of the stadium with a mocking "hey ey ay ay" but considering how loud and confident we were walking into their house we got off pretty easy.

The local police and Texans staff working the parking lots, however, totally suck.  They were threatening arrests for those of us still hanging at the tailgate after the game and 2 years prior they shut down our tailgate in Yellow lot.

It is pretty bad.  I lived there for awhile and kind of adopted the Phillies as my team for a bit.  I witnessed some terrible things.  I attended some Sabres playoff games there.  A lot of it was fun as I had the right attitude about it, but there are lunatics there who take it too far.  Id imagine the Eagles are x10.

If I were to do it, id do it like I did the Sabres games...  splurge and get premium seats.  Higher-end clientele, you arent with gen-pop, exclusive bathrooms.  If the game doesnt go well for the eagles, consider losing the jersey for the walk to the car.   People typically dont fight in the parking lot(s) at the tailgate and the way into the stadium.

The playoff game had a dude looking for a fight. Found someone. Cold clocked the dude sucker punch knocking him out cold. He and his friend ran away. I went after one and @Royale with Cheese went after the other.

his guy was a bit of a jerk acted like one but never did anything. I ran after the dude who hit the guy (didn't realize it at that moment, just went after 1). I grabbed him by the and just said "hey bud, you're done." He stopped and realized he was not going to be able to do much and I escorted him to police. I said he was involved and he said he knocked the guy out and it was him who hit him. The police took him as the ambulance cart came for unconscious dude.  It was weird because the guy acted scared once I confronted him. My only guess is he thought I was a cop.

The Eagles and the City of Philadelphia tolerate a lot of violence in and around the stadium on game day.  Too much booze, too few cops, and the worst offenders know they can get away with it.

I've seen a couple nasty fights simply break out over being in the wrong seat.  Should you get punched in the face in front of your kid for being in the wrong seat by mistake?  No.

DC game …. Half the fans will probably be hills fans.

Went to several Bills-Raiers games when I lived in CA. No problems. Our bills Backers group had Pinto Ken  with us. He offered the Raider fans in the lot bowling ball shots and that had them looking out for us..

One friend I know went there in 2016 to rep the Browns and had a Jersey on.  He got some dirty looks and comments initially but decided to buy the guy next to him a beer to show no hard feelings.  Idk if that was really necessary but this guy is very social/talkative/loves people and scenes so maybe he was protecting himself! Sounded like he made it out in one piece

Best advise I would say I’d start an account on Eagles forum and see what feedback/pushback you get if you’re really considering it
