The Red King Posted December 3, 2022 Posted December 3, 2022 Too many burnt bridges. Besides, look at the rest of the AFC East right now. Do you really think Tom wants back in this division? And that look by Diggs was priceless. 😏 Quote
Billznut Posted December 3, 2022 Posted December 3, 2022 This is an honest question…are there ANY Boston sports media people that aren’t grade A D-bags? If I ever see or hear a smart one, it’ll be the first. 1 Quote
Inigo Montoya Posted December 3, 2022 Posted December 3, 2022 Most Pats fans are still under the delusion that their franchise is relevant and a destination for free agents. They have the worst of both worlds now. In years past, great free agents would come in and tolerate Belichick being a jerk because they were likely to win a ring with Tom there. Now they still have Bill being a jerk and no chance at a ring. It will take a few more years of losing for the realization to sink in that they simply are not the center of the NFL universe anymore. 1 Quote

I can't remember if it was this past off season or the year prior but I recall one of the players saying that they were asked to help recruit FA's to come to NE and they had never had to do that before and it was hard. For me, that was when I knew things were falling apart internally with their team. 1 Quote
