BigdaddyinOrlando Posted December 1, 2022 Posted December 1, 2022 Well at least this game will count as one of the four he misses as unfortunately NFL does t work like Baseball and have retroactive lists for injuries. Hopefully he’s back for Cincinnati and good to go! Quote

Southern_Bills Posted December 1, 2022 Posted December 1, 2022 Probably the best decision in the long run. Not what I wanted to hear though lol. 2 Quote
Riverboat Ritchie Posted December 1, 2022 Posted December 1, 2022 Long run probably makes sense and gives us Roster spot. Really stinks though it is this stretch of games. Unreal the injuries this year. Kinda like the end of 92 year. https://www.nytimes.com/1992/12/31/sports/pro-football-injury-plagued-bills-again-turn-to-their-super-sub.html Quote
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted December 1, 2022 Posted December 1, 2022 Yep- just get to the playoffs somehow and take him off of the shelf for the tournament Quote
Allen2D̶i̶g̶g̶s̶TBD Posted December 1, 2022 Posted December 1, 2022 Rousseau and Ed Oliver need to step up and dominate consistently in Von's absence. Quote

If that happens it will be the best news all year. Their confidence should be up as they have had success this with with Von mentoring them. Hopefully Von still travels with the team for sideline support. Quote
Chandler#81 Posted December 1, 2022 Posted December 1, 2022 (edited) This reeks of McDermott wanting to play a doctor on tv again . True medical professionals and experts in this particular field say no major damage though after season surgical procedure is recommended. Von wasn’t even wearing a walking boot post game. But Mother Hen Sean is truly attempting to sabotage the season with being ridiculous overly cautious. Has there been a ‘medical decision’ he’s made that hasn’t hurt the team by unnecessary player removal? 3 starters out last week that nearly and probably should have torpedoed a win. ALL we’re back for the 1st full practice after the game. What does this say for where the blame lies? 😡 Edited December 1, 2022 by Chandler#81 3 Quote

eball Posted December 1, 2022 Posted December 1, 2022 Hate to not have him vs. the Fish but this is a good overall scenario...he's not trying to rush back and can let that knee heal as much as possible before the playoff push. 1 Quote
PauleeeWalnuts Posted December 1, 2022 Posted December 1, 2022 Unbelievable the luck this team has Quote
transplantbillsfan Posted December 1, 2022 Posted December 1, 2022 I like it as long as he comes back. Soooo... does that mean the 4 games he has to miss are Patriots, Jets, Phins and Bears? Means he could potentially come back for the MNF game in Cincy against the Bengals, right? 3 Quote
par73 Posted December 1, 2022 Posted December 1, 2022 Without Miller, DE is a big weakness. Will have to dial up more blitzes to get any pressure. 1 Quote

People are gonna over react, but I bet our pass rush is still solid Our pass rush hasn't been great as of late even with Von. Frazier is having to blitz more to get good pressure lately, which I'm glad he realizes since letting meh QBs pick our weak secondary apart has become beyond frustrating. Fleezoid Posted December 1, 2022 Posted December 1, 2022 I'm going to watch the game tonight. Then, I'm going to sit in an empty room and stare at a blank wall.... .....Until I feel better. Quote
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted December 1, 2022 Posted December 1, 2022 He probably feels good and could have been back if he really pushed it. The consistent moves by McDermott has been to keep the team healthy for January. I'd rather have Von in the playoffs with a wild card spot than in the 2nd seed without him 1 Quote
