Not sure if this is sarcasm but the tease of Gabe Davis probably caused a lack of urgency in them getting a WR.

Wallace was going up for and made

a great play on the ball. That contact seemed incidental—didn’t go through him.

All I know is that our receivers get that contact all the time, and it is never called!!

There is a newish rule where you dive forward as the QB, you are down where you first hit with the ball.

Agree and it was.  
 

Im counting wayyyyyyy more misses and missed opportunities with our drafts 2019 to 2022 (Elam being most impressing) then I’d like to see Doc.  We’re being carried by 2017 and Josh.

I thought the new rule was that the QB is down at the first point he starts to dive forward (similar to where he's down at the point where he starts to slide)?

yeah, you are right. Ball is down where he starts to dive forward.
