BillsFan619
One of my thoughts the past couple games has been, “I don’t care how it looks, just get the win”. Some of my reasoning for that has been the injuries. Yes, part of it could be a mid season funk (every team faces stretches), but we’re just so decimated by injuries right now. When you have the injuries we have, style points really don’t mean much. It’s just doing what you can to get the W and the bills have done that the past two games. With all the adversity they’ve faced the past week to come out of that 2-0 is a pretty good feat. Analysis is good, but when you’re so thin at so many key positions, you have to somewhat put down the analysis hat and be thankful for the win. Sometimes expectations are so high, it can be hard to see, but the 2-0 record is something to be proud of. If someone doesn’t think that injuries don’t play a major part of how they look, when relatively healthy, we have shown that not many teams can beat us. When we were healthy, we were either blowing out teams, or beating the likes of the chiefs or ravens on the road. Granted, everybody faces injuries at this time of the year, but we’ve had too many to just brush it off as next man up. At some point, the next man up just isn’t as good. Right when we were getting Jordan Phillips back, we lost Groot. Right when we were getting Milano back, we lost Tremaine. The game we get Tre back at some level, we lose Von and so on. I’m proud of our guys and for taking our record from 6-3 to 8-3 in the last five days with the amount of injuries and other adversities (snow, travel, losing practices, losing a home game, etc.) we’ve faced during this time. As the CBS broadcast mentioned, they’re not robots. They’re humans too, and they can feel the adversity. That said, they pushed through it and won. If we can just somehow find ways to win (no matter how it looks), while we’re still facing these plethora of injuries, we’ll have a great shot come playoff time if we can get relatively healthy again. Onto New England. No matter how it looks, find a way to win, fellas. Lets stack some wins in the AFC East and take back what’s ours. Go Bills! Big Turk
This team has been through a LOT mentally, physically, unexpected travel, short week to prepare, etc... 2 wins in 5 days is all anyone should care about. The fact they are overcoming all this adversity even when it doesn't look pretty and still winning is how championship teams are forged. 1

Yup, the 2-0 record is important. 6-3 to 8-3 just like that is great. To your point, championship teams have “don’t care how it looks” wins at times. During the Patriots dynasty, there were games where the Bills would play the Patriots tough and could’ve won, but the Patriots found a way to win. freddyjj
Took Bills 14 games to get their 8th win last year with an easier schedule and minimal injuries. One has to admire their resiliency in dealing with all the challenges they have faced so far. 1 1
