CDogg20 Posted November 24, 2022 Posted November 24, 2022 He’s been really really really bad the last few weeks…once Tres snap count goes up hopefully he sees the field less 2 Quote
atlbillsfan1975 Posted November 24, 2022 Posted November 24, 2022 I had high hopes for him after the first two games. Last few he seems to really struggle being aware of where the ball is and getting his head around. Today he just looked a little out of position on some key plays. Hoping he can get it turned around. Quote
BillsFanSD Posted November 24, 2022 Posted November 24, 2022 Fine depth player. We must do better. 1 Quote
HappyDays Posted November 24, 2022 Posted November 24, 2022 (edited) It was the worst CB performance in the McDermott era. I think part of the problem is we've put our CBs on an island so much the past two weeks because we have to blitz to make up for our injuries up front. TailgateChef Posted November 24, 2022 Posted November 24, 2022 Rare for late draft CBs to play elite. Let's hope Elam continues to improve, and that Tre returns as Tre. 3 1 Quote

Is it possible losing practice reps has hurt him? He’s been terrible after not really getting notice for nearly a full season of games going back to last year. Quote
transient Posted November 24, 2022 Posted November 24, 2022 We wouldn't have been in that nail biting position if this defense would actually learn to tackle. They're constantly making things hard on themselves. 3 3 1 Quote
TheBrownBear Posted November 24, 2022 Posted November 24, 2022 He's often in perfect (or at least pretty good position), but he's really struggling to locate the ball right now. I'm not ready to write him off, but he clearly needs more work if he's going to take the next step.  1 1 Quote
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted November 24, 2022 Posted November 24, 2022 I thought he did okay. That TD he gave up was obscene. Perfect position and hand right by the ball. Just a great throw.  The Lions receivers are good, and the Bills left their corners on islands more today. Quote

I’ve been rooting for Dane but these last two weeks have made it tough lol Quote

DapperCam Posted November 24, 2022 Posted November 24, 2022 Our CBs in general seem to play okay coverage, but they can’t make a play on the ball. I’m hoping Elam and White can remedy that. 4 Quote

Reks Ryan Posted November 24, 2022 Posted November 24, 2022 I really don’t like the anti specific player threads immediately after a game. But I do agree Bills have better options at CB, especially now that Tre is back Quote
