it’s a team sport and the D isn’t living up to their billing. That’s on coaching

The D’s “billing” was set with the likes of Hyde, Edmunds, Rousseau, Miller, White factored in.

Hamlin, Dodson, Love, Lawson and Jackson played exactly how you’d expect them to.

It’s frustrating to watch and can get better… but 25 points on the road against a top 5 offense with 4 or so starters missing isn’t the colosal failure you’re making it out to be.

If/when we get those “billed” names back playing and these problems persist… then you have an argument. Otherwise, it’s a pretty shallow discussion.

This title is all that needs to be stated.

call it injuries if you want to but this D is pathetic and that’s on the coaches.

faith is lost in him 💯

So what opposition team are you behind enemy lines for?  You have not made that clear.

Don’t stop there! Fire Dorsey and McD while you’re at it!

I wish we could fire some of these posters.

Go Bills and Happy Thanksgiving everyone

The mods could.  Guy is using the 2nd string squad out there with 3s too and winning and people talk about firing him.  Top 3 defense in the league with half the starters out

For some reason, BOTH coordinators receive enormous criticism from the fanbase.

There are so many variables that go into what we see on the field, there is no way to even know what is a mistake from a coordinator or not.

And yet they really do seem to be hated by a certain % of the fanbase.

Detroit offense averages 405 yards/game at home.  We held them to 325 without Edmunds, White, Miller or Groot.  But let's fire Frazier.

White actually started. Snap counts not available yet.  No stats for him in gamebook though.

Klein substituting for Edmunds made a big difference compared to previous game.

You remind me of the GDT.  Which is not a compliment.

I appreciate this post but let's be honest,  you did not like me calling out the idiotic whining on the GDT.

The OP doesnt realize that detroit has had a really good year offensively. Based on Detroit's defensive record, the bills should have 40 points....

The Lions, Bills, and Chiefs are the only teams with 5 games with 30 or more points.

The mods could what? Ban people for having a different opinion? Here's a better idea...as long as they aren't breaking the rules, keep scrolling.

Fire you, you suck! D played outstanding today, AJ Klein was great, no Rousseau, Miller, Espeasnsa, Edmunds and got the win great coach getting the backups to preform, Great draft pick in Oliver, Glad you are not the coach because you started a idiotic thread.

The D did NOT play outstanding.  They gave up countless 3rd and longs and couldn’t make a stop when they needed to.  If Campbell wasn’t so bad at clock management, we could be talking about a different game.

Outside of Jackson getting picked on repeatedly all game, the defense played pretty well given who we have out.  The tackling was indeed sloppy, but I've seen worse.

Make no mistake, the Lions have a good offense. People should be more upset how anemic the offense was in this game, but they scored enough to win and made some big plays when they were needed.

Should have made Daboll HC

Sure looks like it right now, not really a realistic idea as of last year, but I wouldn’t have been upset if they moved on from the coaching staff after that :13 debacle, not like it was the first time McClappy’s awful coaching has lost them big games.
