Charles Romes Posted November 25, 2022 Posted November 25, 2022 It’s difficult to get a sense of degree of Meniscus tear even with an MRI. I expect they may do an exploratory (maybe that’s the definite surgery they are talking about) If he was walking around without a limp as reported and an ACL year is ruled out I see that as a very good sign. Severe Meniscus injuries can be very painful and limp-inducing. Quote

It never translates to the season though. He’s just out there doing cardio. Or flying in late to the tackle like he’s done something. 1 Quote

Scott7975 Posted November 25, 2022 Posted November 25, 2022 Have they operated and replaced Millers knee with Josh's elbow yet? 2 Quote
ExiledInIllinois Posted November 25, 2022 Posted November 25, 2022 Anybody post this? ShoutOut to @CountDorkula for being my source. Anyway... Player's Association wants the turf type @ FordField banned! Gr8... In under 5 days, Bills played twice there! NFLPA wants it replaced immediately. Gr8... Bills play later in season @ Cincinnati. Is that where Burrows got hurt? Or was it out of town? https://www.mlive.com/lions/2022/11/nflpa-president-calls-for-immediate-ban-of-turf-used-at-ford-field.html Quote

It was preseason game 1 for white. Expect White to get a half next game. Then be full go in 2 weeks. 1 Quote

Big Turk Posted November 25, 2022 Posted November 25, 2022 (edited) https://mobile.twitter.com/JosinaAnderson/status/159619075852430950 Good news on ACL but seems like this is going to be 2 weeks before he even makes a decision?? Potential he plays with brace and then deals with it in the offseason? Edited November 25, 2022 by Big Turk Quote

Severe Meniscus injuries can be very painful and limp-inducing. Yeah, that's my thought. I tore my meniscus in my early 30s and had a ton of swelling and pain in the first 7-10 days. Didn't opt for surgery - just rest and PT and I was back to doing all of my normal sporting activities within a few weeks. Granted, that was just golfing, running and pickup basketball and not NFL football...lol. Quote
