Gugny Posted November 22, 2022 Posted November 22, 2022 Pics of the house as it looks now (beautiful) ... https://nypost.com/2022/11/17/oregon-home-from-the-goonies-hits-the-market-for-1-65m/ Quote
aristocrat Posted November 24, 2022 Posted November 24, 2022 Beautiful little coastal town and a great drive along the Oregon coast there. They still have the jail from the opening scene. We visited here last year and you can kind of walk up the driveway and get a glimpse of the porch. We went on a random day and there were maybe 3 other cars so the place still gets visitors. Quote
Nextmanup Posted November 24, 2022 Posted November 24, 2022 My first thought was "That house will cost a lot of money." So I checked and it's $1.7 million. 47 minutes ago, aristocrat said: Beautiful little coastal town and a great drive along the Oregon coast there. They still have the jail from the opening scene. If you are a big Goonies fan, or even if not, seeing as you were there and all... There is a video I'm sure you can find without too much trouble at Youtube where some guy goes to ALL of the scenes/places in the movie and shows you what's actually there now. I'm sure you'd enjoy it. Shows some filming locations for fictitious scenes as well. I always find that sort of thing interesting. I'm also a huge fan of the TV show "Northern Exposure" and there are videos for EVERYTHING from the world of "Cicely, Alaska" out there too. Mostly filmed in Roslyn, Washington and surrounding environs. Same sort of part of the country, too! EDIT: This is the video about the Goonies: Quote

We kind of ended up there randomly driving up the coast in the Rv stopping at all the sleepy little coastal towns. 1 Quote
