I know in the color rush game vs. the Jets (Bills in all red and Jets in all green) in 2014 I think it was, the announcer apologized to fans using a black and white TV since they wouldn't be able to tell the teams apart. Who still uses a black & white television? Analog TV went away years ago. Those TVs would not even pickup digital channels. Step into the 21st century, please. 1

clayboy54
I think we should change to all dark green with white stripes, so they blend in with the field. You could sneak guys downfield and nobody would be able to see them. 😛
Blank Stare
1 hour ago, Logic said: I guess I figure the one loss they have would be to Miami. They shot themselves in the foot with stupid mistakes that game, but there was enough else going on -- heat, attrition, the Dolphins making a few big plays -- that I felt like it was a "legitimate" loss. The Jets and Vikings losses should not have happened, in my eyes. I was going to ask who your one loss would be. I actually agree that we should be 9-1 (maybe 8-2) but with our “legitimate” one loss to the Ravens (and/or maybe the Jets). The Ravens were morons. We had no business winning that game, but credit to the team for not quitting and clawing back to steal it. We gave the Miami and Vikings games away. With all the things that went wrong in those games, we still should’ve won. An argument could be made that we gave the Jets game away too because we were up, but the Bills played poorly/didn’t finish and the Jets capitalized on their mistakes. Josh wasn’t great in that game and the defense couldn’t stop their running game on their final drive. So I could also see 8-2, but no worse.

I'm not gonna lie...I'm not really a fan of the Bills playing on Thanksgiving. It has worked out the past two times, but I know that a loss would add an unnecessary streak of misery to what is otherwise normally a very enjoyable day. Hosting Thanksgiving is stressful enough WITHOUT the Bills playing in their double monkeypaw black cat cursed blue pants away combo, thank you very much. I agree that the Bills should be 8-2 at worst, but more likely 9-1. A reasonable argument can even be made for 10-0. Then again, as you point out, the Ravens game might be a "should've been a loss" game that went down as a win, so it goes both ways. At the end of the day, "you are what your record says you are", but damned if it doesn't feel like the Bills have a worse record than they ought to have at this point.

People who are color blind cannot differentiate red and green most typically, thus the Jets Bills game with all green and all red uniforms caused a problem for the color blind. Also, some color-blind people only see in black and white, but that is not common. What a game of telephone this is-- black & white TV indeed. However, how do we know that it’s just not an issue where the pieces can’t grasp the playbook? Or maybe they just look bad in practice. I don’t think that Dorsey or McDermott is just being stubborn and penalizing the team because they don’t like somebody. That’s something a guy like Bill OBrian would do. Our playbook is known to be complex. It also is likely very different than college or WCO teams, as an example. Therefore, it is not hard to imagine that some of these guys are not able to grasp all the concepts in their first weeks, months or even year on the team. These guys are often not the sharpest knives in the drawer, remember. it may be complex but imo if they can’t grasp the whole playbook then you give them at least a package or two of plays. If they can’t grasp that then they aren’t nfl players.
zow2
Good, I've always liked the white jersey and blue pants. Reminds me of the era that included Ferguson, Roland Hooks, Joe Cribbs, Jerry Butler, Reggie McKenzie, Smerlas, Haslett, etc... Enough with the superstitions.. 1
