Wizard Posted November 20, 2022 Posted November 20, 2022 For those of you living in and around Buffalo, thanks for being strong! Thoughts with you. 5 things I would like to see from the Bills today besides a "W." 1. A rushing touchdown for Singletary as a result of getting the ball in the red zone. 2. A strong second half. Score as many points or more in the second half. If leading at the half, extend the lead and leave no doubt. 3. No fumbles by Allen. 4. A receiving touchdown by Shakir or Knox. Knox needs to start earning his contract. 5. Play with some fire in their belly and fly back safely. Quote
boyst Posted November 20, 2022 Posted November 20, 2022 1) open with and commit to the run through 4 quarters of play. I don't care who's running it. 2) segue from the first is that there needs to be clock management against Chubb and a running team that will likely win the battle in the trenches. 3) segue from the second is ball control. No fumbles. I can accept 1 INT. But I cannot accept a fumble 4) tackling and taking good angles on the ball 5) playing through the whistle on defense. We seemed to slack some the last few weeks. Food_Pyramid_Wrong Posted November 20, 2022 Posted November 20, 2022 just win baby. And minimal injuries. 1 1 Quote
billsbackto81 Posted November 20, 2022 Posted November 20, 2022 Outside of a dominant win really nothing they do or try to do will impress me. It's the Browns for Pete's sake. Not exactly the measuring stick I want to gauge my team off off. Just show me you're not going to shoot yourselves in the foot and lower your play to the opposition. Quote

boyst Posted November 20, 2022 Posted November 20, 2022 1 thing I do not want to see is the Bills let up in the second half. Especially if they're up 10+. The Bills have let some teams double their first half score in the second. 1 Quote
buffaloboyinATL Posted November 20, 2022 Posted November 20, 2022 A successful 4 minute offense, with the lead, to put away a half or the game. Quote
Virgil Posted November 20, 2022 Posted November 20, 2022 Allen not throwing the ball straight at a defender. Davis, Shakir, and Knox sith 4 catches each Hines doing literally anything A sack by someone not named Von No big runs by Cleveland to the outside Quote
Bills!Win! Posted November 20, 2022 Posted November 20, 2022 If chargers win that would turn our season around Quote
Pete Posted November 20, 2022 Posted November 20, 2022 1-no Bills turnovers! 2-Hines and Cook playing more, and being put in position to suceed 3-its the Browns. We don't need hero Josh today. Be patient, and take what the defense gives you. You will get your chances to take the top of defense a few times later in game. Set them up 4-a special teams TD 5-7+ sacks 6-stop Chubb! Quote
HOUSE Posted November 20, 2022 Posted November 20, 2022 #1 Sacks by Bills #2 No ints by Josh #3 Stuff the run #4 More then one catch by Dawson Knox #5 75 all purpose yards by Hines 2 Quote

freddyjj Posted November 20, 2022 Posted November 20, 2022 Good topic OP Bills RBs > 100 yds on the day. Bills D hold Browns RBs < 100 yds on the day. Hines has PR TD. Shakir has TD. Knox has TD. Quote
FireChans Posted November 20, 2022 Posted November 20, 2022 I don't care about the numbers. I want to see the Bills wake the f up in the RZ. I don't care if they call QB sweeps on the five yard line. But no more "Josh run around when McKenzie isn't open" crap. Quote
RunTheBall Posted November 20, 2022 Posted November 20, 2022 1) Josh doesn’t force the ball and takes what the defense gives him 2) A commitment to the running game for 4 quarters 3) No turnovers 4) Improved play calling in the Red Zone 5) Better controlled rush than we’ve been getting from our 4 down linemen Quote
Nextmanup Posted November 20, 2022 Posted November 20, 2022 Other than a win, I would like to see: 1) Smart play 2) No turnovers 3) Josh returns to normal 4) Josh returns to normal 5) Josh returns to normal 1 3 Quote
Sammy Watkins' Rib Posted November 20, 2022 Posted November 20, 2022 Besides a win? I'm not sure how no turnovers from #17 isn't #1 on every list. Quote
