It's what he needs to prioritize right now. Eventually the defense moves up to cover those and then you go deep.

You develop your game like a chess match.

His decision making with clean pockets and throwing on the run without pressure has been questionable over the same time though.  I've never seen a QB that has been so good all of a sudden become so bad basically overnight.  What the hell has happened?!?!?

A little drop in confidence (Int's).....the elbow injury and a OC that seems to be struggling too.

Wish we had him as a backup QB.

There'd be a faction  of goofballs calling for him to start over Allen.

I honestly wonder if taking the play calling out of Dorseys hands and putting it in Allen's is the reason.

I'm not throwing Dorsey under the bus but allen looks different when he's calling the plays from the line.

Can't say you are wrong, Josh has been rattled the entire first half though.

Ugly day for nfl offenses. Jets/Pats tied at 3 at halftime. Ravens up 3-0 on Carolina at half, and Colts beating eagles 13-3 at half

This offense may have to just decide that an ugly win works too.

Just like in hockey when finesse is not working, keep grinding, get dirty in front of the net and in the corners, and keep shooting at the net till something goes in. It starts with grinding out some 1st downs and getting down close where you have a shot to punch it in.

Defense gets a blow too.

A TD on the 1st drive could completely flip the momentum and game

So we’ve seen recently..

Haha...we have also played the hardest scheudle in the NFL and have the highest strength of victory in the NFL. Can't be a bad team with those two things and 6 wins.

I think he’s been playing with a concussion. That first half of the GB I thought Buffalo was going to massacre them. Then Allen took a hit to the head and played 100 percent sloppy.

Many holds today not called.

Can’t “let them play” when it effects only one of the teams.

Exactly and to call that hold on Reggie was horrible considering what they are allowing cleveland to get away with

Not a bad team, but definitely a good team playing badly.

that Browns DB who cheap shotted Allens arm out of bounds needs to be fined by the NFL.   i have zero tolerance for that kind of bs.   if that was Brady it would have been an ez 15yrd penalty.  friggen ref standing right in front of it, does nothing.

f the Browns,  their ***** organization,  and most of all their ***** owners.

Allen is clearly not right,  the elbow is worse than we're being led to believe.  his passes are either high or low,  hes stumbling after throwing hard.   hes not smiling at all,  looks like all the joy of the game has left him.    something more here than just pain management.   i think hes worried.

Never seen Josh this off.  Going on 12 quarters since GB halftime.  When will this team upgrade the OL?

It would help if there were ol players that were nfl capable.  They do seriously need to set up some type of program to train up ol athletes for the entire nfl.

Has to be the elbow I guess.  Nothing else has really changed other than defenses adjusting.

His confidence is gone?? WTF🤣🤣🤣

Maybe I could have chosen a better word than confidence. He just looks off. My point remains the same, he needs to be coached on the sideline.
