- He mentions that Gabe Davis only runs 3 primary routes and knowing that from film study makes it easier on the defense. The DB says Davis showed all game what he showed on tape.

- On the game ending INT he said he knows our redzone concepts and as soon as he saw Davis motion into the bunch and run the laser concept, all he had to do was stay tight in his coverage.

So Davis has been figured out. That might explain his past month. Lovely

You can have Davis be successful if we have just one outside WR to step up. Diggs moving on the field, slot specifically, will open up areas of the field where 3 routes are all that would be needed.

With all that being said, it was a bad throw and late throw by Josh. Of the throw is on, and the timing is on, it’s a TD every single time assuming Gabe catches it.

Davis runs the routes that are designed/called. If we are calling plays that are so preditable then the blame goes to the OC, and explains why we are struggling as much as we are

If its this easy then I've got to ask .... WTF Dorsey?

If plays are that predictable in the NFL NFL Coaches and players are going to figure it out real fast, and they did, and have

Josh has hit some tight windows, but when you are doing the same thing over and over again those tight windows are getting smaller and smaller.

Kind of funny when they got beat on a double move for the game winning td in regulation by gabe  and had to hold him lol.

If they could predict his routes,  why did he have a step on Peterson with no safety help for the game winning td?  Seems like it’s a bit of revisionist history at work here

wouldve taken a good throw for the td but at worst that’s an incompletion if josh didn’t throw an absolutely horrendous pass

I also remember thinking that Knox was interfered with in the endzone on the back shoulder throw. Can’t remember if it was in OT or near the end of the game.

Yea he probably was but I can’t fault them for not calling it in that moment…plus we got an absolute gift on that gabe drop at the end of regulation just to get us to that point

There’s only so many routes to be ran. Especially in the red zone. It’s no secret that Davis is targeted in the red zone on slants and crossers simply because of his size. Again, if Allen is ok with his throw there it’s a TD. It was a bad throw and he was late delivering it. It’s that simple.

Yeah that Gabe Davis catch was a gift.

Just found the Knox play and posted it. I didn’t realize how catchable the ball was. Knox should have ended the game right here. Bummer.

It was the play right before the INT in OT.

Dorsey and our lack of talent at WR are a major problem.

Diggs is elite. Period. The rest?  Average at best. With a passing offense, it’s pretty crappy that we haven’t thrown any major resources into the passing game other than the trade for Diggs.

I feel bad for josh man…he carries the team 9 times out of 10 and nobody seems to be able to step up and bail him out when he needs it.

he hit Davis right between the numbers on that 70 yard bomb the week before too that could’ve been the game winner and would’ve at worst tied it.

he got robbed of an epic 4th quarter comeback against kc in the playoffs, got robbed of the same against Arizona a couple years back due to the defense givin up the hail Murray.  We’re just straight up cursed

Davis is elite on deep throws
