Bills did #2 very well from halftime through OT....

But we also did a #2 all over ourselves from halftime through OT

Don't beat ourselves. In every loss it has been injuries and self inflicted wounds.

Stop playing hero ball.

Short quick passes to limit their pass rush.

Knox should get 10 targets minimum.

Play a 4-3 defense or hell even a 5-2 from time to time. Amari Cooper and Jacoby Brissett are not beating the Bills in 20 inches of snow.

We don’t play the same way the patriots do literally all we have to do is just not turn the ball over and we would be destroying teams

The Bills are literally a minimum of 5 times better than the Pats.  That said the Browns are a decent team who are a QB away from contending.  I also believe all 4 keys be important.. if you can’t stop them running or run..they will keep it close..

All Bills fans in the stadium need to chant "MVP MVP MVP" everytime the offense steps on the field so Josh knows that winning isn't the most important thing and nothing short of highlight reel plays on every down will be acceptable.

I was in the stands when this happened on Sunday.  I was flabbergasted.  There are 8 3/4 games to go. Nobody wins MVP in the 2nd quarter of game 9.  Give me a break.  Not to mention he was trying to run guys over with his injured arm.

We're getting pretty damn good at it.

I know I am an outsider but I watched Cleveland v Miami and Cleveland has decent CB so..

1. RUN THE DANG BALL! — Miami ran all over them and took an early lead using their run game.

2. STOP THE RUN. — Chubb and Hunt are a very nasty 1-2 punch and if you want to win you need to stop them first.

3. TE/ SECONDARY RECEIVERS — Can’t rely on Diggs as I expect Cleveland will be able to keep him in semi check. (They did an OK job on Waddle and Hill till they had to start pinching up to stop the run.. but still with them combining for only a 100 yards that’s pretty decent coverage on them.. )

4. TAKE THE POINTS - I don’t know what’s happening in the NFL.. But stop overthinking things and kick the dang FG  to extend a lead. Stop over analyzing things..

I dare say if the Bills just do the first thing they will not be stopped on O.. the question is will the coaches have the patience to stick with it. (Pats bet the Chiefs 3 times because they dared them to run and they wouldn’t stick with it, they also did it to Peyton Manning and the Colts.  It’s a conman problem with a top QB )

Don’t fumble and throw interceptions in the red zone?

Agreed. The 90s Bills benefitted from an amazing rushing attack with Thurman, Kenny Davis, Darick Holmes, etc. The rushed for 341 yards in a playoff game once!

But when the issue of running the ball comes up, come people say the Pats with Brady, from 2007 on, didn't run much at all and had huge success without a running attack. Do you think that's true?

Supposedly a blizzard is coming and could dump over 2 feet of snow in wny....ughh just in time to face a power running team

I really think we’ll be OK.  This is coming from a Southtowns lifer.  There’s no way to know for sure until Saturday or Sunday.  But, as of now, this is supposed to be a bigger problem for South Buffalo/West Seneca, which is just a little north of OP.  (For those who aren’t from here, the SB/West Seneca storms are the really bad ones, and conditions can be vastly different over the span of a few miles as one heads from the Stadium in OP up Southwestern or Abbott.)

These things also tend to wind down a bit before the storm watch/warning ends, which is 7p on Sunday.  I’m not saying we won’t have snow this weekend (we will, and it seems like it could be bad).  But the scenario we’re trying to avoid is having two inches an hour fall during the game.  At this point, I’m not terribly worried about that happening.

They would be mostly right, we had a 1,000 yard rusher with Maroney his rookie year. They also won a SB thanks to Sony Michel. So what I am saying is 4 of the 6 SB they had a good to great running game, 1 they won thanks to Defense,  and the last won against Atlanta was all passing and well if I am honest a huge collapse from Atlanta.. (but IMO White was the key to that win as well a RB)
