So I'm flying in Saturday in the afternoon.

Do you guys think that I should consider another weekend to fly in?

When do you have to decide by?

1-2 feet of lake effect snow. Get your shovels ready.

Edit: Based on some comments from others below, looks like this could end up being a monster storm.

So if field conditions are bad, that's going to favor the run game even more.

Adversity builds character, use that character to build a snow army to tackle Chubb/Hunt! Solid game plan. Incentives include free massages from QB Watson for every successful tackle, ff, or  int.

Why do people assume snow games require running?  Unless it is very windy, throwing the ball is highly effective as the WRs have the advantage of knowing where they are going and potential for big plays due to slipping and falling. We had quite a few snow games with the Kelly era Bills that were air raids. The wildcard playoff game against Miami for one.

Yeah, it's not that simple at all.  A lot of bad snow games are damned near impossible to throw very well, simply b/c everyone on the field is slipping and sliding, including the receivers who know where they are going.

Snow = messy, old school, lousy football, more often than not.

They are talking about a massive snow storm; if that thing hits, it will be difficult to play football at all.

God forbid these idiots would build a dome, and put it downtown.

over what period of time?

Thursday night through Sunday night.  Some models showing up to 61"...scary part is as the event gets closer those totals tend to creep upward, and continue going up at times during the event.

That is a long time, should be able to keep the streets relatively clear,

And what about the stadium? No way they can clear 5+ feet of snow that packs the stadium in the days before and continues to fall through the game.

If Peterman and Benjamin can score touchdowns and passes in one of the snowiest games we have played in. Allen and Diggs can.

Most models are not very good at predicting lake events.  Need to look at ones that are.

For the hotel and car, I think it's a 24 hour cancellation policy.

I'd wait as long as you possibly can to get as much updated info as is available, then make the final call.

Lake effect is notoriously unpredictable and making a decision nearly a full week out is akin to throwing darts with a blindfold.

Have to hire the locals like they did a few years ago IF they dont move the game to Cleveland which is I would be a high probability.

If it's seriously that much, the game could legit be cancelled. That's not safe for people to be travelling and many roads will be impassible.
