Unless it is very windy, throwing the ball is highly effective as the WRs have the advantage of knowing where they are going and potential for big plays due to slipping and falling. We had quite a few snow games with the Kelly era Bills that were air raids. The wildcard playoff game against Miami for one. EXACTLY! Jim Brown only scored once here: The passing team won... Fins couldn’t stop the passing game in the snow. That was the division round by the way. The next week was the 51-3 game. Quote
Billsatlastin2018 Posted November 16, 2022 Posted November 16, 2022 If the Bills haven’t already petitioned the NFL to bump this one until MNF, it’s another Billsy sign of the Apocalypse! 1 1 Quote

Since1981 Posted November 16, 2022 Posted November 16, 2022 (edited) What a freakin mess. anything above about 18”/day is a problem, for even WNY. I’ll be shocked if the game isn’t moved to Detroit announcement THU at noon. Edited November 16, 2022 by Since1981 Quote

That would be a tough call to make before any snow has fallen. Could look pretty silly if the actual snowfall ends up being less than expected. Quote

Toss in officials, TV crews, referees and fans and you can see why earlier is better. Quote
zow2 Posted November 16, 2022 Posted November 16, 2022 I think it gets played at home, the worst of it supposed to be over by Saturday and the band is supposed to shift to the north. The biggest problem will be fans getting to the game, and players/officials....but it's not something that has never been done before. The actual weather over the stadium isn't supposed to be terrible on Sunday....basically windy and cold. 1 Quote

HOUSE Posted November 16, 2022 Posted November 16, 2022 You don't need show shovelers with a domed stadium. BIG SAVINGS FOR TAX PAYERS 2 Quote
Awwufelloff Posted November 16, 2022 Posted November 16, 2022 Buf national weather service saying 2-4' feet+ of snow for this one Quote
Steptide Posted November 16, 2022 Posted November 16, 2022 Unless I missed it, I'm surprised the bills arnt trying to get shovelers for this weekend. Quote
