RiotAct Posted November 15, 2022 Posted November 15, 2022 this is the game where I treated myself to an awesome ticket (Section 111 Row 4)…. so of course it’ll be moved! 🤦🏼♂️ Quote

So? The same network would cover the game on Friday. I’m guessing their ratings would actually be higher on Friday than on Thursday. (Not to be too sexist, but while women are out shopping every man would be home watching the game.) Quote

Well, probably. Have to peruse SeatGeek’s policies I guess. EDIT: assuming you were talking about of the game ends up being in Detroit? Edited November 15, 2022 by RiotAct Quote

Billsfan4588 Posted November 15, 2022 Posted November 15, 2022 Completely ignorant and random question (I have not checked weather forecasts for any neighboring areas), any reason the game wouldn't/couldn't be moved to the Carrier Dome in Syracuse? Mostly just curious and think it would be cool to see the Bills play there. Quote

Even if they are plowed there will likely be big piles of snow taking up spots and for the people who typically park in people's lawns and walk to the game those will not be available. Additionally, there is no telling what the driving conditions will be during that time period...if the area is in a 3-4-5 inch per hour lake band there will be issues seeing the tail lights of the car in front of you 1 minute ago, SoCal Deek said: We used to walk to school both ways ….uphill! No stinkin way they would EVER move a Thanksgiving day game without a catastrophic event happening in a host city..not a chance. Biggest revenues games for the networks based on ratings...And Friday ratings would be prolly half at best..people work, people travel, people have family plans outside the house....if anything happens will be game this weekend being moved. https://www.cnbc.com/2021/11/30/nfl-thanksgiving-ratings-highest-since-1998.html Quote

Bills!Win! Posted November 15, 2022 Posted November 15, 2022 It sucks that we only have 8 home games this year this would make 10 away games and 7 home games if it’s moved I still have PTSD from playing in Toronto every year 1 Quote

With the crazy narrow focus lake snow, it’s a 10 mile radius. Bring all the plows in from Rochester!! mostly worried about 10,000 cars stuck in parking lots. Quote

You would still have 2 games on Thanksgiving with the Giants-Cowboys and Patriots-Vikings. Doesn't the league want to have a game on "Black Friday". Here is their chance. 1 Quote

The easiest thing would be to simply move the game to Detroit since the Bills will be there the next week for the game anyway, they could just stay there. 1 Quote

True, but I like the idea of playing in the dome when the possible field conditions in Buffalo during the storm might favor the Browns' running game. 1 1 Quote
