You have to ask, is he going to out-smart the smartest guys in the league all the way to a SB title?  If not, why is he here?

His defenses feast against scrub/backup QBs (not so much last week...), but come the post-season, when you face quality passing QBs, his defenses kind of suck.

Anyone who didn’t recognize that we are a soft defense is not being realistic. First, Poyer and White were awful. It pains me to say that but White couldn’t cover and Poyer couldn’t tackle. Now Poyer has been hurt and White is coming back from an ACL but they should be better out there. The D.line was pushed around and other than Milano,  Edmunds and Rousseau we  were embarrassing. We need better D-lineman and a  better secondary. Dorsey wasn’t to good either.

Rousseau?  Did he even play today?

Beane's drafting at DL & OL has been terrible.

Rousseau was invisible, but he’s worth keeping.

Agreed.  Not sure that he'll ever be 'the guy', though.

Felt like at the end of last season, he was ahead of Jaelan Phillips.  Phillips, IMO, took a big leap this season, and Rousseau did not.

On a slow track, which we had in several games, he’s just undersized and useless because he can’t use his speed. Some big decisions to be made. Epenesa, Lawson, Oliver and Poyer may be elsewhere. Oliver and Poyer because they’re too expensive and the others because we have to get better.
