clayboy54 Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 Seems like to this point, Dorsey is just being stubborn and won’t use the personnel. If he keeps it up, he will be McD’s worst hire. Quote
Bangarang Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 We have an OC that can’t for the life of him find ways to get Cook the ball in the passing game and y’all thought he’d be able to get Hines the ball? I only remember Hines being on the field for 1 snap on offense. This team makes moves without having any sort of plan. 1 Quote
TheFunPolice Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 Our 2nd round RB hardly touches the ball. It's nuts 1 Quote
TampaBillsJunkie Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 Dont forget Wilson in Miami. He runs for 117 today and the tandem with Mostert is creating a lot of mismatches for defenses that Tua is taking advantage of. Us, well..... I'm too pissed off to wasted keyboard strokes on it. 1 Quote
Shortchaz Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 Said it before, I’ll say it again, when you have 3 running backs (5? 6?) you don’t have a running back. 1 Quote

JakeFrommStateFarm Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 Strange to have 4 active rbs and have Johnson returning kickoffs. Let Hines do all return work and use his explosive speed to make a big play. Truly a head scratching move Quote
BananaB Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 On 4th and 2 Duke Johnson was on the field. ***** just don’t make sense. He seemed like he was there for short yardage plays by the snaps he was taking. We picked a guy up from our PS because the lack of trust they have in the guys they drafted and traded for. McDermott says he believes in all his guys, sure looks like it. Quote

I think McK went short left to the 16 but was guarded. By the time Singletary released, Josh was already winding up for the endzone. Even if he does dump it off to motor, he probably barely makes it inside the 15. No one ran a mid field route to the 10. That’s when Allen has to throw it away or take off with it. The INT he’s had are cause for concern because he’s throwing it right to them. Like he doesn’t even see the db idk what’s going on but it’s not good. Quote

Allen was in the process of throwing when Gabe made cut, if he cuts inside instead of up that’s an easy catch. The play was there, the LBers could not make a play on the ball, the safety was too deep and Gabe had position on Peterson. Allen will never throw a guy on this team under the bus but it’s obvious Gabe made the wrong read, he cut upfield and headed to more traffic. When Gabe went up it gave Peterson position to make the play on the ball. Edited November 14, 2022 by BananaB Quote

As someone else pointed out in another thread, what's worse is if you look, Singletary was open in the flat for a potential first down gain. Never looked at him. Also Hines 1 catch 9 yds, 0 rushes Shakir 1 catch 6 yds. They are not trying to use these guys. Dorsey has to be less arrogant & try something different. He isn't using all the weapons he's been given. It's Diggs all day & Davis shows up sometimes. Maybe Dorsey panics & let's his emotions take over in the clutch (thinking tablet throw) which only helps amp up sugar high Josh & this is what you get? I don't know. But need to really change it up. Is it Dorsey or is it Josh? That picture sure seems to point towards Josh. Until Josh gets back to spreading the wealth, this team is stuck in the mud. 1 1 Quote

Eastport bills Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 This is an indictment of our coaches. When are they going to incorporate this guy into the offense? Are they so deluded as to their focusing on Josh running the ball as our offensive approach? They are putting too much on this guy and he is forcing throws and if they don’t come up with some nuance in our attack, we’re finished. Quote
Airseven Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 Hines trade was “universally praised”?? Huh. Anyway, he’s not getting reps because he hasn’t absorbed the playbook unfortunately. Quote

The Vikings traded for Hockensen and he's immediately put to use, CMC is traded for and instantly slots into the 49ers hyper complicated run game. Such a joke to pretend that Hines couldn't know the playbook by now. The coaching staff are floundering. 1 1 Quote
Kmart128 Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 No idea. Dolphins got immediate production out of Wilson. Vikings got immediate production from Hockenson. And we still refuse to play the guy we traded for... Quote
Solomon Grundy Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 I'd like to see Hines with more carries. Especially pitches. Quote

Is our playbook written in Latin? It's inexcusable not to use the weapon that we traded for. Zero touches on offense, less than freaking Duke Johnson, is just crazy, especially since we were up by 2 possessions for a large portion of the game. That's where you lean on the running game. No way Beane traded for him just to be a punt returner. Quote

I've lost a lot of faith in Dorsey and McDermott on gameday. Players have to execute, but damn it coaches can put them in better positions. We were marching down the field in OT, Allen has a big run, call the TO. Have him calm down and breathe. It seems straightforward to me. Ugh. 1 Quote
