SirAndrew Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 I think the offense gets complacent when they go into the locker room with the lead. The defense melts down because Frazier becomes even more conservative. The talk is all about coaching and Allen, but the lack of an aggressive defense scheme really holds this team back at the worst possible moments. I don’t think Allen will be the reason we don’t win a title, it’d be this defense playing afraid in the playoffs. 2 1 Quote
TheBrownBear Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 It's bizarre. We were dominating this game until Epenesa and Can Lewis took horrible angles on the long Cook TD, and then we just completely collapsed from there. It's becoming a theme. 1 1 Quote

You ask too much of backup DBs 1 2 1 Quote

Hebert19 Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 They are too cocky. Honestly. Hang 27 on Packers like it's nothing Hang 24 on vikings Have lead vs jets and dolphins. Then they just completely lose focus. 2 Quote

The offense has not been responding well to opponents defensive halftime adjustments. Plus Allen can’t to stay patient. No need to score a td from the 20, with 1:30 left. Poor playcalling before ,with no commitment to sticking to successful run game they had. Allen plus rookie Dorsey have to change, but Mcd has to get across to dorsey they have to run more. It’s what they have missed for 3-4 years and they can’t finish or hold leads this way. When you throw 30 plus times , it’s a set up for ints. Results speak as Allen leads the league in ints. This team refuses to learn from history. . Daboll is 7-2 as a rookie head coach as he has adapted with running. SB teams have a dependable run game, watch the remainder of the year. And they don’t play terrible situational football repeatedly. You are right about dorsey. Mcd has to help him adapt.and they have to score after half time! It’s incredible. Quote
John from Riverside Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 It is a good question we used to be a very good second-half team Quote
JakeFrommStateFarm Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 McD is icing down his hands from all the clapping he's done Quote
Pete Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 The past 3 games, one team made great halftime adjustments, and not the Bills. 6 points combined the last 2 second halfs. Cmon man! 1 Quote
Back2Buff Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 Don't let Sal C hear that this coaching staff is non-existent at halftime. The dude flips out. Refuses to admit that this has been a theme for many years. Quote

It's ok to check down and work all the way down the field including RedZone for TD. Quote

Then last year, they seemed to solve that 3rd quarter issue but sometimes started really slow. This second half issue has only appeared since the bye week. So there really is no pattern to this. What is a pattern is that this team seems to come out of the bye week really flat. Quote
