The defense choked away several chances and just could not get us off the field. Injuries or not that’s inexcusable and I’m losing a lot of faith in this staff. I hope McDermott takes over the play calling on defense but everyone just eats Fraizers D 24/7 so I’m sure it’s more likely he’d get given the key to the city. He can shove this soft shell passive BS up his ass. I want my defense to play with half the balls as our offense In truth, I think the offense needs less balls and the defense needs more. I wonder if one can hand some to the other. Quote

One beat us by two in boiling heat with an OL which was so shredded we had someone playing with an ACL injury. One beat us by three when we handed it to them on a plate. If we can tidy up the errors we beat both. Big if, though. 1 Quote

It’s more embarrassing than taking a loss, especially against a team that has lost 1 game, 2 games…y’all need to suck it up or move on to whatever the flavor of the month is. It’s about entertainment, your not getting a check, relax and enjoy the ride. 🤷🏼♂️ Weak. fans who don’t care are embarrassing. I don’t see any fair weather fans here. Most people who are upset have invested sig time, money (tickets, direct tv, etc) over a span including the drought years and would like to see some fundamentals done competently. No one here “just” became a fan. That’s fair weather. And no one here is no longer a fan. A fan board is where people go to discuss the team: the good and the bad. If you just want pro bills stuff visit the team’s website. 2 1 Quote
nedboy7 Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 The loss of Poyer and Hyde is immense on D. It will be even more evident in the playoffs. 1 1 Quote

That needs to happen. Idgaf how sensitive people are about this. We have games to win. Save him from himself period Quote

If we only took the big play when it was clearly there, and otherwise checked down and dink and dunked he'd be the best QB bar none. Play is mental as much as physical. Josh has all of the physical skills but mentally he shuts down far too often. 4 Quote

Fumble by singletary when we're driving to basically put the game away 2. How do you give up an 81 yard run when up 17? By letting up and a big wiff of a tackle by #46 3. On 2nd and 2 from the 4, run the fkn ball (by Josh if you wish), 3 straight times if needed. It would work. Dorsey short yardage brain fart per usual 4. One handed catch on 4th and 18 - knock the fckn ball down Lewis. Football 101 stuff 4. PI call against #46 on 2nd and 22 - inexcusable 5. Simple center QB exchange fumbled. Really, how does that possibly happen?? 6. Late in regulation a PI is called at the 10. 2 more seconds on the clock, we could have run another play before the FG. 5 seconds left and we can't. 7. Knox almost caught the ball in the endzone in OT. Pretty blatant PI, no call. 8. On game ending INT, check down to Singletary instead. He would have caught it on around the 15 with defenders at the 10 and 5. Probably doesn't result in a TD (Singletary doesn't do that) but does probably get a 1st down, or at worst, 3rd and very short. There's probably more stuff I'm missing....frustrating.....on to Cleveland It seems we have a number of these every game. Sometimes we are able to ein, but in every loss numerous errors. The common theme the last 3 games: 2 half play calling on both sides if the ball, and Josh becoming average. 1 Quote

A split is probably what will happen and that leaves us out of the playoffs. What has to happen right now is that we need to beat Miami, beat the Jets, and at least split NE, if not beat them twice.
