Sorry, folks. The Jack-off on WGR just Backed off on Allen starting, saying he just found out Josh isn’t a sure thing..

morons..

🤦‍♂️

That would be stupid.  If Josh isn't enough of a "sure thing" to start, he's not enough of a "sure thing" to be the back up

Not to pile on Josh, but it’s been 8 bad quarters. I’d have to go back and check,  but outside of the big Diggs throw I think the first half against GB we were something like 5/8 and ~35 yards.

Not exactly. He was 8/11 for 129y and 2TD in the first half. Without the big Diggs he was still 7/10 for 74y. We weren't throwing much but he was very good (those are my notes, not just stats).

Question:

We are missing some of our key defenders (Poyer, Rosseau, Elam) with Milano and Edmunds banged up.

Is it worth it to start Josh in this game?

If we start to get slashed on defense, should we pull Josh?

More runs than usual and more short passes to pass-catching RBs.  But there will be some longer passes for balance and the element of surprise!

and controlling the clock, long scoring drives, keep Vikes O off field, keep our D well rested

If our defense is getting wrecked, Josh is the only one that can save us.
