Dan Darragh Posted November 10, 2022 Posted November 10, 2022 I wonder if we can use him as a holder for field goals. Quote

But I can see Allen being of value in short yardage situations where throwing shouldn't do further damage but the threat of him doing Josh Allen things opens stuff up. Plus it makes defenses have to plan for 2 QBs. interesting idea I just think that doing this would key the defenses to expect some sort of run if he’s thrown in only on short yardage situations. 1 Quote

Because seriously what else is there to talk about on this message board? It gets pretty stale and tedious at times to be honest. Quote
benderbender Posted November 11, 2022 Posted November 11, 2022 Why can’t we give Josh the Gronkowski elbow weapon? Or did they change those rules after the Pats used it just like the no substitution plays they banned? Quote
Airseven Posted November 11, 2022 Posted November 11, 2022 If Allen’s elbow is injured or he needs to be used “situationally,” then he shouldn’t play. Quote

So don't think there is much chance of further injury to his specific injury if we used him in some 3rd and short, 4th and short, or goal line situations. Even though the most important thing is making a SB and winning it, we are still the #1 seed in the AFC only by a tie breaker, and we are only a half game up on our division while also being 0-2 in our division. So, this game is still important both in our quest for home field advantage as well as winning our division. And for that, I wouldn't be opposed to see Josh used creatively in a way that doesn't put his elbow injury at risk if we needed it this game. Yea I don't think the Bills would let him play if tests showed any significant injury. The focus on how badly he could be injured with no way to know his medical details, might possibly open up the deep routes if Minn believes his injury could make him not throw as much. Quote

You don't bring your injured franchise QB off the bench to run a QB sneak or end around. I agree 💯 Although I could see McD / Dorsey doing something awkward like that if Josh is feeling some discomfort. but if there is no pain or discomfort + tests show no damage, I think they’ll play Josh the whole game. WotAGuy Posted November 13, 2022 Posted November 13, 2022 They should have Josh run the Statue of Liberty play over and over and over. Using his left arm. He can keep the right arm in a sling. Quote

TheCockSportif Posted November 13, 2022 Posted November 13, 2022 If JA17 plays, and it's close, I find it impossible to believe that he won't be in it until the very end of the game. The drop off from #1 to #2 is significant. Quote
