Italian Bills
I’m wondering about a thing: the Bills’s power perception on other teams. You know… there were/are teams that others fears when to play against before the snap, thinking there are very fews chances they win. One team was New England Brady era, the Seahawks few years ago, the Manning Colts, the Packs Favre, KC Mahomes this past years when Hill was there and others in the past. Do you think that the Bills are in this situation ? I don’t feel the Bills got this status yet, even when all the so colled “expert analyst” and world of football say that we are the team to beat and superbowl favourite for Vegas. Honestly i also don’t think we got this point yet, we are very close, just few pieces far in the roster, but not there yet. Your thought ? Doc Brown
Probably not right now because god thought it would be a fun year to test the Bills medical staff. Fully healthy though we're there despite not being to a Super Bowl. Three straight double digit winning seasons with the same elite quarterback and head coach will give you that status. Especially when you keep seem to be getting personnel wide each year. When fully healthy (that's obviously not what we are right now) I think our offense is the hardest to prepare for while our defense is definitely in the top five. It reminds me of the peak Patriot Brady years where the only chance we had of beating them was for them to make uncharacteristic mistakes and us to play the perfect game. Ray Stonada
You have to win a Super Bowl to have that mystique. 2

Ray Stonada
I will say, the Bills definitely scared other teams this season with juggernaut vibes after the first 3 games, for sure. The last game, the way we lost and with The Josh being hurt, has dented that fear. I truly believe Buffalo will unite and focus to keep the wins going without Josh. They can beat Minny and Cleveland with Keenum. Then Josh could come back on Turkey Day and put together a national TV demolition of the Lions in his first game back, to remind everyone why they were so scared of the Bills.

And teams will look forward to playing the Bills. It's a get well game when you can control the ball for 40 minutes and run own the D's throat all game long. Even with our supposed elite O, one turnover and we're toast

Some of the teams i mentioned above didn’t have a strong running game, but they got that status anyway. But i also agree with you that without a good running game (good is enough, don’t need great), we could be in trouble deep in the season. Ethan in Cleveland
I think you are misinterpreting the situation. I think the Patriots with Brady were the anomaly. They were feared by everyone. The Chiefs with Mahomes for a brief period probably got close to them and of course the 85 Bears for that season Otherwise I don't think any NFL team fears any other team. They all know that on any given Sunday they can all win or lose. Edited November 10, 2022 by Ethan in Cleveland
Big Blitz
I’m sure after Jacksonville and Indy last year we were not taken seriously Then we went scorched earth at halftime vs Tampa This team is 5x better then last year when healthy Hot and Healthy for January - put it on a t - shirt - that’s what it takes in this league to win it all

Manning and Favre (but also the Roger’s Packs till a couple of years ago) were at different level to everyone else beside the Pats. 16 minutes ago, Big Blitz said: I’m sure after Jacksonville and Indy last year we were not taken seriously Then we went scorched earth at halftime vs Tampa This team is 5x better then last year when healthy Hot and Healthy for January - put it on a t - shirt - that’s what it takes in this league to win it all I agree.. but you know very well how much it counts playing at home during the postseason. I’m sure that with the n.1 seed last year we would have advanced to the SB.

Colts with Manning maybe a little especially at home. But I dont think anyone feared Dungy as an opposing coach the way they would Belichick. Packers were a good team but I don't think any team felt they were unbeatable. Especially since Favre turned the ball over so much. Do you think anyone fears being outcoached by McDermott and company? I think they fear Allen being unstoppable at times, but know the Bills from time to time play down to their opponent. This is the crux of it - The Bills are a much scarier team when everyone is kicking in. When Allen is in super man/sugar high mode, that means he's trying to do it himself. Give me B- Josh and A rest of team and we dont lose another game. Give me A+ Josh and C- everyone else and we'll win some exciting games but miss the playoffs. Give me C- Josh and D- rest of team (as per Jets game) and we dont win another game 1

Interesting point the McD one… especially for the many times he’s called out for poor coaching.
