BillsFanNC Posted November 8, 2022 Author Posted November 8, 2022 Hey our old friend Marc Elias of Steele dossier and 2020 election law changes under the guise of covid safety fame. He's just trying to make sure we surpass 2020 as the new most secure election ever. 1
Doc Posted November 8, 2022 Posted November 8, 2022 It won't matter in Fetterman's case. He has no chance to win. And that's why he's trying/going to sue.
Doc Posted November 8, 2022 Posted November 8, 2022 Apparently voters turned up in Philly to fix their votes. And hopefully recast them for Oz. 1

But suffice to say there’s a lot of older Americans - generally really good people trying to do a good job -in charge of the on-site polling places in our retirement communities. Your overall point strikes me as correct. Problems will arise, fixes will come, mostly just random stuff (“printer out of ink!”) that will taken care of. I’m just highlighting the leap to wild conspiracy explanations of ordinary issues coming from both sides. That’s America today. And your post strikes me as someone who has an opinion on something he clearly knows nothing about. I never saw a single individual over 80. That view isn't effective, informed nor funny. It's simply nasty, as is par for the course here, and in the general public. The people who do this, in my experience, have no objective other than to serve their neighbors, as this is all, by law, local, in the insistence that those folks have votes that count.
Doc Posted November 8, 2022 Posted November 8, 2022 At my polling place today, I saw mostly senior citizens working. I doubt any were 80 but definitely in their 70s.

My mother in law was one of those poll workers into her late 70s. My comment was meant to be an amusing take (hey, not everyone was amused) on people finding something sinister about a complex machine breaking and a bunch of well-meaning but technologically challenged people trying to fix it. Not every screwup is evidence of a sinister plot …

The goal of volunteering for this service is to ensure that your neighbors right to vote is enforced. I did it, and I'm well below the ages listed, was to provide a service to my community. Everyone else, that I ever met and worked with, was of the same view.
LeGOATski Posted November 8, 2022 Posted November 8, 2022 I voted in a Maricopa county suburb of Phoenix this morning with zero issues. 1
LeGOATski Posted November 8, 2022 Posted November 8, 2022 Should we just do away with machines and go back to hand counting? Everything was better then, right?

ChiGoose Posted November 9, 2022 Posted November 9, 2022 I see I missed an opportunity to invest in Reynolds Wrap stock before everyone went out and made themselves tinfoil hats.

BillsFanNC Posted November 10, 2022 Author Posted November 10, 2022 Conspiracy theory. This is all normal. Zuck bucks again.
leh-nerd skin-erd Posted November 10, 2022 Posted November 10, 2022 I think the messaging here is while American’s question every single industry, product and service that goes awry, it’s completely crazy to question any issue with Rocking The Vote, unless it benefits the other team.
