I am bracing for case to play Sunday get those reps in Keenan

This is why I get pissed with the “this is Josh Allen team” crowd. What chance do this team have if Josh doesn’t play?  At least when Kelly didn’t play, the Bills had Thurman and Andre to lean on. That’s why I was so adamant about the Bills getting a top notch RB to help a la Thurman

There is more to a strong running game than having capable backs.

And one of those things is actually committing to the running game. Devin needs a lot more than 8 carries.

It's based on the fact that this guy has never been in the same goddamn room as Josh Allen, let alone seen any x-rays, MRIs, etc.  He's talking out of his ass.

What about that Tommy John surgery you were pimpin’?

Is that based on your medical opinion, or simply because you don't like the idea of Josh missing football games?

And that's base on what exactly? Don't like the news so attack the messenger?

🤔

Because I'm not taking a guy who has an eye on his diagnosis and eye on the spread seriously.

I may have missed an update but im not reading through 20 pages from where I left off last night lol.

My opinion is that they should just sit Josh and let him heal up like they did his rookie season.  Id rather have Josh 100% for the remaining games and into the playoffs than to have a struggling Josh trying to get a #1 seed that we still might not get and then also a struggling Josh in the playoffs.  Playing with this tear, he likely wont be as accurrate anyways.  He wont have grip of the ball that he normally does.  Someone said it in a tweet somewhere that I read... throwing a pass or two is one thing.  Throwing 30-40 passes is another.

If we have to go on the road so be it.  Playing KC is still playing KC.  Doesnt matter if its on the road or at home, its going to be a dog fight.  I dont think home field advantage is that much of a big deal anymore in the NFL.  100% Josh vs any other % Josh is a bigger deal IMO.

To Clarify. The Bills will not be winning the Super Bowl with Case Kennum playing QB. We could add Aarron Donald and Derrick Henry to the team and we still would not win with Case Keenum.

So... I saw the update with McDermott saying "day to day" and I'm a little shocked at how many of you think Josh isn't playing Sunday?

I'm assuming everyone is going on the previous "day to day" designations (Milano, White, etc.) and McDermott's choice to sit them?  Said it earlier in this thread, but there was no way in hell this was ever going to come out as a "everything is rosy and Josh is fine" report from McDermott no matter what he heard from Josh or the Doctors.

Day to day means he's playing, to me.  Let him sit today and tomorrow and continue to treat the elbow.  McDermott has no need to reveal that he thinks Josh will play, so why would he?

One of the interesting things I read and saw was that with that injury, it's an awkward spot for a QB but it's really not hugely impacted by the throwing motion of a QB.  And you could see that in the way his arm got hit.

I expect Josh plays and Dorsey relies a little more on the running game, but not as much as people would expect.  A lot of quick passes and rolling pockets to come.

And give Josh the green light even moreso to run, because I'm sorry... this notion that Josh running will significantly shorten his career has already been challenged with what look like his 2 worst injuries inside the pocket in his rookie year and last week.

My takeaway from this is that he isn't playing this week and day-to-day is just to keep Vikings guessing.

I am not happy but this is still the best what we could hope for.

It will be interesting without him. I suspect that GDT will be even more fun that usual.

I say throw him in there. How bad can it be? Elbow, schmelbow. Tuck the thing and run. Not like gimp Joe Ferguson hobbling around out there against the Chargers.

Anyway.  He hurt it in the pocket, exactly where they tell him to stay. Go figure!

Run Josh RUN!

They won't win a Super Bowl without Josh. They can win a regular season game at home with Keenum.

I like Matt Barkley better. If Josh ain't playing, don't they gotta call him up from practice squad?

I mean if it was week-to-week for sure they'd have said so like Rousseau who will likely miss 3 games minimum

'85 Bears won with McMahon and a few regular season games with Steve Fuller. Actually,  only loss came with McMahon out.

McDermott could be 100% certain he's missing multiple games and would still label him day to day IMO. There's no reason not too.
